Went here explicitly looking for hot food. The menu has a variety of protein options and staple favorites like jollof rice, rice n beans, fufu, etc. I ordered Jollof w/chicken and it came with plantain n cabbage. This is by far the most authentic, flavorful food I've had in charlotte since I moved here in May (2021). Drops Mic!I couldn't even take a picture of the food before I started eating because after the first fork full I fell in love and needed to quickly get better acquainted with the goodness that was in the container. This meal gave me the comfort that I've been missing.

Nice African shop. They have a lot if African stuff and they do deli. They have a long menu of African foods. You should get there.
I love visiting here, They have everything you need. My daughter loves her Caribbean rice. Number one African market in Charlotte. Meat market, groceries and hot food to go. Enjoy
Called at 5pm and ordered ahead of time since I have a busy night ahead. They told me it would be ready in 45 mins. Got here on time, it’s not ready. It’s currently 7:53pm and they just started plating my food after I’ve been standing here for a while. The crazy part is, this isn’t the first time this has happened. I love the food here and I’m African as well, so I’m all about supporting my people. But it is pretty terrible how often I’ve had to wait hours in this store in order to pick up food I’ve ordered ahead of time. I never really write reviews but if people want to eat here, it is important that they know this.
So I am very hard to please when it comes to my African food but I took 1 bite of this while in the parking lot and I cannot wait to get home to eat the rest!!! Very very good!!! I will be coming back
