First time dining here and I loved it! Server was friendly and helpful. I had the Lechon with vegetables and Jasmine rice. Absolutely delicious!

Tried this place yesterday and out of all the attempts at mastering Cuban sazón from many other restaurants, this place hit the nail on the head. My high expectations were met!! I loved this place! The Cuban sandwiches were delicious, the ceviche was delicious, the vaca frita was delicious, the group we dined with was all very happy with their meals!! I have found my new favorite place!! Reminds me of being back home in Miami ?
This place was phenomenal and I mean phenomenal. Definitely make a reservation, especially if you’re going on a weekend. The ceviche is a must try, we got the one on special which was like the classic but mixed with chipotle and it was the star of the show. The textures from the corn nuts and tortilla strips mixed with the sauce and the almost buttery texture of the shrimp was something I have never experienced before. Do yourself a favor and order the ceviche, it’s worth it! I got the chicken special which was essentially marinated chicken fried in small portions with a rice and bean mixture and fried plantains on the side. It was also served with an aioli. It was excellent (though still not as good as the ceviche; seriously try it!) oh I forgot, the Cuban bread and butter is also good and worth the $3.50; four pieces come with it. The vaca frita was also to die for, the beef was so tender and the rice and beans were very flavorful. Plus the portion sizes are huge! I wish I could go again and definitely will if I come back to charlotte! 10/10!!
I ordered the Vaca frita, which was delicious..I do wish they had a little bit of sauce to it to eat with the rice. The guava Maria was delicious though. The service was great
I wasn't very familiar with this kind of food, but so pleasantly surprised. I decided on the shrimp mojo. It was delicious! Another in our party had the ceviche and said it also was great. Our server was efficient. Enjoyable meal.
Had a great first time experience here. Came here to celebrate my birthday and had the plantain chips as well as the shrimp. Everything on the menu looked so good! I was just in Peru and was happy to be able to enjoy some of the food I had there. The cocktails were also very good. The best part was the ice cream dessert. It was fantastic! The fruit drizzle was amazing and I wish there was more. The atmosphere and decor was really cohesive and went with the theme of the place.They don’t have a lot of parking so you might need to park on the street or walk a little ways.
The staff was great and our food was great! Our food was very fresh and hot and my waitress even gave me a desert for my bday❤️?The great service and professionalism has made this spot my new lunch place! The drinks was pretty weak but other than that I had a great experience. I will most definitely eat here but would go else where for drinks.We will most definitely be back!
I'm reviewing based on my take out order. I been trying to order here for a little while since I love Cuban food and they def not disappointed. The service was great from the hostess to the person who took the order. Our food was so delicious. Will be back to try the drinks at his cute little restaurant.
Calle Sol is a Latin Fusion restaurant featuring food from Cuba and Peru. We ordered the Vaca Frita and Ceviche Mixto which were great. The white rice was a bit bland (Chinese style) as opposed to a more traditional Cuban style rice that has more flavor. Drinks were a little expensive and not great. We tried the Jupiña Colada and it was not a winner. Overall great atmosphere and good food. Would definitely recommend a reservation ahead of time and try to arrive early as parking can be difficult to find in Plaza Midwood.
