The Cajun Queen was extremely busy and crowded Saturday evening. However, the wait staff kept everything running smoothly. I've never seen a wait staff work this hard--they cleared tables immediately, they ran up and down the stairs carrying drinks, loaded trays, both full of food and/or used dishes. They managed to never run into each other or the guests. It was amazing! Our food was served hot and delicious, and with a smile. Definitely a go-to restaurant in Charlotte!

Been here 3 times during the past few months, fantastic each time! The blackened catfish is as good as anything I've ever eaten. My wife is on a continual search for great key lime pie, found it!
We wanted a place with good food and live music, so we followed a recommendation from a redditor. A bit disappointed to not be closer to the music, which we could hear okay at first. But, when the loud group of women were sat next to us in the small room in the front room, we were not able to even hear ourselves, much less the music. The food and our server, however, were definitely worth the visit.
Delicious. Spicy. They way itâs supposed to be. If you want spicier just request it and they will spice it up more.
Anne-Marie was AMAZING! She helped make our experience 5 star. I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the crawfish Diane with andouille sausage. *chefs kiss* We also got the fried oyster appetizer and they were AMAZING!! One of the best meals weâve had periodT.
Wow! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by cheerful host and shown to my table where I was meeting my party. Our server Justin was friendly, kind and attentive. Our food was exquisite! Compliments to the chef! The decor and charm of the house is quite pleasing! I wander upstairs where the bar was also a live jazz duo playing, it very awesome! I also noticed there was outside seating available which would wonderful for a cooler evening. I cannot wait to bring my mom here for dinner. This will become staple to bring any and all of my family and friends to from now on?!!
