Today we visited the restaurant with my friends and based on a review, I ordered wild mushrooms and chicken crepe. I was very disappointed. The dish was like a can of mushrooms dump on some rotisserie chicken swimming in heavy cream on top of a soaked crepe. All you could taste was heavy cream!!! DO not Order This one!!!
I have been here on several occasions and each time the food and service is outstanding. The last time we came was a busy Saturday brunch. We did not have a reservation but were accommodated within 15 minutes. This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Charlotte for brunch and dinner.
Another go-to brunch spot. Our favs are Smoked Salmon Benedict and Crab Benedict. Today we also got French Martini and Paris Mule. Everything was amazing. Thank you for having us Cafe Monte.
Lovely! The food was tasty, the place is charming and the server was very polite and helpful! I enjoyed the steak and eggs meal - substituted the potato for fries which were great! The cappuccino is yummy and large! They add a hint of cinnamon to it. The croissant was fluffy and yummy - great with the side of jam! But it wasn’t a buttery croissant like some are used to. I really enjoyed this place and will be back!
Went for breakfast today. Loved the decor and kind servers. I wanted to get the duck and waffles but they were out of duck, got the steak and eggs instead. My boyfriend got the French breakfast omelette. We got cappuccino and a cafe au lait. Everything was delicious!
Spending time and having the nice assort of their breakfast plates in a cozy place was really pleasing and made our time in Charlotte memorable! Will definitely go back!
