Wow this place is the most unique coffee shop around. The level of creativity in blending new flavors is incredible! I enjoyed an Iced Blackberry Coffee Lemonade which has left me thinking about this drink 24/7. Super chill atmosphere, very clean and most delightful baristas around!!

The stuff was very unfriendly and I felt awful there, they told my kids not to play inside despite it was innocent. when I asked for a mug they pointed that I can’t go outside and should put dishes away after myself and it was NOT in a nice manner! I did all that but didn’t want to stay there at all! coffee was not to my taste too - For coffee houses they’d better ask about the type of beans as not everyone likes sour kind like me. The interior was great but stuff was not nice and coffee and muffins were average. I’m so stressed about WAR in my country - Ukraine - but also can’t feel comfortable having coffee!!!

All of the girls that work here seem like they hate their life and take it out on the customers. I really enjoy my coffee being slammed on the counter and it coming out of the top, asked for napkins and it was the end of the world. god forbid one of these girls wakes up on the right side of the bed one day.Seems like there are a lot of reviews of the great customer service yet clearly nothing has been done by the owner.

Cafe Moka may lack in space with seating but they make up for it with their menu! Love the flavor offerings to level up on an iced latte in the summer or a flat white in fall/winter. Not your basic coffee shop for sure! @ediblejoy IG

If you want to go to cafe Moka to do work, study, read. Etc. I recommend going before 6pm!My wifi went out at home as I was about to do a class assignment so I had looked up cafe Mokas hours (closes at 8pm) and thought “perfect I’ll just go to cafe Moka” from my understanding, they always make you buy something if you’re gonna stay inside and study. Therefor, I walked inside at 5:15 Pm with the intention of staying for about two hours to do school work. I walked inside and bought a smoothie “for here”. As soon as I sat down there was a sign on the table stating that indoor seating closes at 6 pm. I asked the cashier if I really have to leave at 6 pm if they close and 8pm and she said yes…even the owner or manager overheard me asking and saw my dissatisfaction and yet proceeded to not say anything or apologize for the inconvenience. I wish I was told before I purchased a $7 mediocre smoothie that I had to leave in 45 minutes! After all I did walk in with a backpack so it is prone to known I will be doing some work.It would be nice if this cafe states that their indoor seating closes at 6! On social media or on google/their website. Or better yet…let your customers know when it’s close to 6pm. Especially since cafes are known to be a “study spot” or “work spot” just doesn’t make sense for it to go close indoor seating 2 hours prior to closing I’ve been going to cafe Moka since they opened when I was in high school and now I’m in college and it was a shame to see them take away the inconvenience of customers!!

My first time and I loved the decor, service and drinks. It had several sitting options and a fun, retro vibe. We tried a Honey Matcha Latte, Chai Tea Latte and a Mexican Spice Latte. Each drink had an awesome aroma and taste yummy! I only wish the teas came in a larger size. I can’t wait to go back for a smoothie.

This coffee shop is kind of a gem, great coffee shop vibes in an are of town that is so “perfect”. Not what you’d expect. The seating options look good but are not very comfortable. But the coffee is phenomenal. Looks like they have a partnership with Red Rooster. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of these around Charlotte. I worked in here for a few hours and had a few coffees and it went from slow to very busy. They have a code to get into their restroom which seems very unnecessary.

Hours are misleading! Wanted somewhere to study for a quick couple hours and saw that they were open until 8. I ordered my drink in a mug that I brought- a capuccino with chocolate- or you could call it a mocha with dry milk, I suppose. The barista made it for me, and literally 5 seconds after I sat down, they informed me, as well as the other customers, that they were “closing their indoor seating” in 5 minutes at 6:00. There goes my evening. At least they could have told me they were closing before I ordered my drink. I ordered it in a regular mug, not a travel one or anything, which I would think is a pretty clear sign I intend to stay.It doesn’t even say anywhere on their website or Instagram that their indoor seating closes early. At least make it evident if you’re going to do that. I wasted an hour of my evening and 6$ because of misleading hours. And I wouldn’t have said anything, but while we’re at it, the drink was pretty mediocre. Could barely taste the espresso. I volunteered to pay for a large despite my mug being probably between 10 and 12 ounces. Just tasted like cocoa and too much, too dry milk- and I’m a barista, so I know what a good mocha or cappuccino tastes like. Also, there was no latte art, which definitely isn’t expected, but it’s another missed opportunity to make my experience more enjoyable. I only bought it because I wanted to hang out, which I was unable to do. I’ll just say it didn’t make up for the rest of my experience.Just disappointing. The barista was pleasant, but failed to provide me with the most basic and extremely relevant information. If you’re going to have some kind of different indoor seating hours, at least advertise it well- unless the baristas are lying to make people leave early, which is, you know, worse. The customer shouldn’t have to go out of their way to discover your secret hours. Probably will never go back.

Wish I would have gotten a picture of the legit slow bar, "pour over". Quite the science, not seen since moving back from PDX. This is actually worth the $5 cup of coffee, no cream needed, just legit labor of love! Hats off, your staff was super kind and patient.

The entire staff present was welcoming and friendly! Immediately, I felt comfortable and happy here! The warm conversation and absence of masks was refreshing. I appreciate that they allow each person to make their own decision in regards to masking and social distancing. Also the coffee is delicious!I will definitely be returning and bringing people with me!!
