Bricktops is one of my favorites! The food is consistently good as is the service! Had the Steak Frites snd it was amazing! Everyone loved their meal!
The food was delicious, our waiter was very nice and helpful. There was some kind of issue with the hostesses. Their greeting was not welcoming at all. One especially was not happy and was stomping around. Food is expensive though !
Bricktops is my new favorite fine dining restaurant in Charlotte. My partner had a business lunch there earlier in the week and brought home a fish taco for me to try. Absolutely delicious. We decided to go back this past Saturday for an early mother's day lunch. Everything was amazing, including the cocktail. We rarely break from our vegan diet, but when we do it is typically for seafood and I don't know about you, but if I'm breaking from a typical diet and splurging, it is just the worst to feel like you wasted the opportunity or are disappointed. And that happens. Not at Bricktops! Everything was well worth it and the price point is not bad considering the quality of food, level of service, and 'date night'/special occasion atmosphere. If on a budget, which I always am, I recommend going for lunch. The price point is more affordable and (on Saturday) lunch is served until 4pm, so it gives you ample time to go during those hours. I highly recommend Bricktops. And I don't think I am alone, the restaurant was busy at 3pm on Saturday. They do take reservations via there website through open table. If you do not see your time available on the site, call the restaurant, we were able to get the reservation desired using that method.
Good food and friendly staff at a location that is rare in its ability to persevere through so many South Park changes. The menu is good, with subtle plays on common favorites. A large bar and ample outdoor seating compliments a huge inside dining area with lots of booths.
The food was awesome ! Every time I visit there the food quality is spot on ! I feel the restaurant is underrated and better than many top rated restaurants in the area. Calling them before and making a reservation helps to get a table on time!
Bricktop’s was a great experience. My fiancée and I tried them out the other day and had a very good time. I made a reservation through their website and was promptly seated when we arrived. Our server Ravi was super nice and friendly, and had the perfect amount of check ins to make sure we didn’t need anything. The drinks were great (prickly pear margarita is strong) and appetizers and entrees were awesome. One thing I liked was the portion size of food given for the price. Some finer dining establishments cost more, but give you a comically small portion of food. But we left here full (my fiancée got grilled trout and the size was huge). All in all a great date night experience, I’ll be back to test out their brunch menu for sure!!
Service Average to Below.Food Average. Bread not worth the calories. Vegetables were overcooked (broccoli).While I appreciated the fish was cooked well, the menu describes the fish as being served with broccoli. The fish wasn't served with broccoli in the dish. Although I ordered a side of vegetables as a side, I expected the broccoli to be included in the plate some how with the trout. I added crabmeat and that was a mistake as it tastes like it was out of a can. I wasnt expecting much for $10.00, however what I received was insulting. It appeared to be 3 tiny pinches of crab. My dear friend enjoyed her Chilean sea bass so I kept quiet and didn't complain.Arrived at 7:30 pm on a Monday. Restaurant wasn't full or busy just a steady pace so no excuse for service. I've heard there are tons of great restaurants in CLT so no plans on returning.Not impressed.
We love the food and atmosphere of this restaurant and have eaten here many times. The only negative is a hostess names Alisa. She is the coldest, most unfriendly hostess we have encountered in a long time. This was experienced when the restaurant was not busy. Can’t imagine how she would treat customers if it were busy!
Were meeting clients and was a great place to get a good meal while still being able to talk. The service and the food were very good.
Sitting at the bar is a must for me. It’s rectangular so great for people watching. Fantastic staff, very friendly and attentive. The drinks are moderately priced as well as the food. Especially with the huge portions. Great for sharing so can sample a bit of everything, if your into that !!! Also has a inclosed patio.
