Such a pleasant experience. The food was really good. Get the chicken and jambalaya- seriously. They were short staffed but the staff was very nice and made great suggestions… also the food really good! We ate outside and they provided a water bowl for my pup ! Go and enjoy yourself!#tellemGabsentya!

This place was fantastic! I haven't had cajun/creole this good since a trip to New Orleans. The staff at this place make it feel very warm and welcoming, and the server was top notch. I'm sitting here eating the Beignets for breakfast the morning after and they're incredible. Absolute recommend, go here if you end up in Charlotte.

Very good Cajun food. Loved the Pineapple Mojito!

It's fine. I went here a few years ago and remember it being much better. Went here last night and it was devoid of any personality or atmosphere. The tables were set up far apart, many without chairs. Our waiter clearly didn't want to be there and was pretty rough around the edges. The only redeeming quality is that the food was decent still, but we won't be returning anytime soon.

5 stars for the food 0 for the service. 6 people in the whole place 3 min before anyone said anything to sit down. Then another 8 min to get a drink order (and which I placed an appetizer order) after sitting for a total 15-16 min (with 2 kids) I finally went up to the bar area and interrupted the guy at the bar and said "hey can I get those drinks please". 4 min later the appetizers arrived...and still no drinks. Food was good, fresh, and delicious. But the service was trash. I have held many restaurant positions and I'm very forgiving and understanding. But this was quite ridiculous

The food was actually really good. No complaints on food .I wish I could rank higher .but due to them (obviously) being understaffed ..We only saw three (3) front of house employees (bartender and 2 wait staff). We had 7pm reservation and didn't get seated until almost 8pm . .. Not a crowded night .. Just short staff I presume. We would love to go back when they have a full staff ... So I can give 5 stars .Our waiter did his best but , one guy doing the job of many , he was wiped out and it was only 8pm.We left a 50% gratuity. For we believe at full staff this place would be awesome experience

Been here twice. Thought the first time was a fluke. First waiter was coked out. Second one was slow as molasses. Food is subpar and not worth the wait. However the hush puppies were good. Beers took 15 minutes to get, food 50 minutes both times. Bright side beer was cold. Will not be back.

Went here for the first day of Mardi Gras season and will definitely be back. Got a great taste of New Orleans as well as the great vibe Noda has in general. I wish we were able to get a cat 5 and walk to see live music though. That would make it a full experience.

It may not have been the best day to visit. We were seated and then moved because they "accidentally" gave us a large table they keep available for larger parties. Then once moved our drinks took a while to get ordered and delivered. The server was training (the trainee was more attentive and helpful than the trainer). My food was mediocre (gator bites/shrimp Po boy). The jambalaya is why it still gets a 3 star. My wife ordered it and it was by far the star of our experience. They seemed to have more liquor/beer shortages than anywhere else I have been too lately. Staff was just ok. Went with friends so we still really enjoyed ourselves!

Y’all this was delicious! Started with a cup of each She crab soup and YaYa gumbo both served with delicious cornbread. Followed by Hurricane Katrina - you know that was strong! I had the Shrimp and grits and he had the Cajun Carbonara - both were excellent! Highly recommend.
