Love love love the SPDP. It’s cool and refreshing, not what I was expecting. You can order it deconstructed if you’re getting it to go, but I want to eat it just the way the kitchen makes it. It’s a good thing to order 1st and make plans for the rest of the hall while you eat it. The chicken tikka roll was ok but the paneer tikka roll was better. Get a boozy slushy and enjoy.
Great atmosphere great food!!
Diverse food choices, fun indoor out door seating, great for families
We got the Butter chicken with a side of naan and the chicken tikka roll… it was all AMAZING, We love spicy and the tikka roll had the tiniest kick to it which was a nice surprise. The staff is friendly and so welcoming. The music was nice and upbeat which only made the experience better. One of our new favorite spots in Charlotte! Can’t wait to be back!
wonderful great food, great environment.
Delicious food, friendly service with a bright and welcoming atmosphere.Officially our favorite spot in Charlotte! My wife and I love their sister restaurant Chai Pani out of Asheville and this place is just as amazing. Our favorite dishes were the Kale Pakoras, the chicken tikka roll, and the crispy Masala fish roll. By the way, if the gobi 65 is one of the specials, it’s a must have.We live in Greensboro and would gladly drive an hour and half just to come here.
Dear Diners- aYour phone screens are not drool proof! Kindly take precautions.. ?We had a feast at Botiwalla. We tried their chicken malai roll, kale fritters, spdp and the lamb sliders. The flavours were a bomb. Their is lots of sloppy moments where the dressing is going to slither over your wrist and beautifully manicured fingers. There are no cutleries needed to enjoy these sinfully delicious food.Butter paneer rice was a decent serving and the Gobi 65 was a crispy fare during our second visit. They can tweak your spice level Incase you have sensitive tummy like mine. But the shout-out to the entire team out in BotiwallasHead down to Botiwalla and enjoy their fare. It is something that should be on your to-do list every weekend. It would be packed as I feel it's kinda like the eatery mall. You might have to park a bit far as they tend to be busy thru the peak hours and more.
New to CLT, optimism hall is one of the places my friends recommended me to try before I leave. The hall itself is beautiful, lots of restaurants and outdoor seating. We came here on an early October night when the weather was really still nice. After walking around a bit, we finally settled for some delicious Indian food. I usually think Indian food as curry dishes but this restaurant's top notch was the lamb burger. Very interesting and intriguing, decided to go with that (trust my elite fellows). Wowww it was too amazing, the burger was very juicy and flavorful, and has a spicy kick to it. It was different, but different in a good way!!! You also get two burgers although they are not too big. the appetizer I got was delicious although I still don't know what's in it -.-
Wanted to try something different first time trying Indian food. Chicken kabab, wings, lamb burger spdp. Enjoyed it wil come back to try other things on the menu.
I loved the place, food and people. The server made extra effort in making sure me, husband and baby are getting a place to sit and enjoy food before they serve it us. Food was fresh and good quality. And chat is worth calling Indian Chat with good balance of chili and tanginess. I will definitely be going back to try more items in menu :)
