The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. The aesthetic is very trendy and clean. I got the HK style Boba Tea and it tasted great. The staff clearly explained the difference between the drinks and helped me make my decision. I would definitely visit again
Boba Baba is the one of, if not THE best bubble tea place in Charlotte. Their dedication to serving a great drink is evident in the ingredients they use. I always get the strawberry matcha latte (mix before you drink it) and it's the right blend of bitter and sweetness. If you're a matcha lover (like I am) I highly recommend it. Honestly everything on their menu is a must have and I highly recommend it!
The absolute best tea I've ever had. There's genuinely not a drink on the menu that isn't amazing. Their pastries are also always great and the staff at both locations are always incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. Boba Baba is leagues above any other Boba shop I've been too. Just be careful, it's addicting!
I prefer real tea and less sugary drinks. This place hits the spot when I'm craving boba! Super great vibes and awesome staff. Shoutout to April for making awesome drinks! Try out the hojicha latte with oat milk and add boba! ?
So happy to have Boba Baba in South End! They're very knowledgeable about their teas, and the shop has such a pleasant atmosphere. I hope that they serve pastries next time I'm here - I saw them on their website, but they were nowhere to be found during my visit.
Best spot in town for boba & tea drinks. Their dedication to quality ingredients puts them a rung above every other boba shop in Charlotte. Staff is clearly passionate about the craft. Must tries on the menu include their hojicha latte and the mango black tea (I like mine with herbal jelly). If you're lucky, there's tiramisu in the case!
My new favorite spot to go to when I’m in town visiting my boyfriend. I have tried the Hong Kong style milk tea with boba and the original black milk tea with boba! Both are my favs.Whenever you order your drink they ask you for the sugar level and ice level that you would want in your drink. One of my favorite parts is that you can control what the sugar level is like!The Hong Kong style Milk tea is already a bit sweeter so if you aren’t fan of super sweet make sure to make the sweetness level is on the lower end anywhere from 30% to 50%. I normally get the sugar level to be from 50% to 70% and the more sweeter percentage I choose the more ice I add. That’s just my personal preference! Extra boba is the way to go!Drinks come out pretty quick & service is great. This place is super cute and chic!There is side street parking but they said you could park across the street in the lot.
Another boba place in Charlotte!This one in South End has cool decor and looks like a fun place to hang out once Covid is behind us. We got a large blended Ube with salted cream ($6.25) with boba (+$0.50) to share. It was yummy, but we forgot to specify sweetness level, so a bit too sugary.Looking forward to trying the other drinks!
As a huge boba lover…this was some of THE BEST boba I have ever had. Service was incredible, the place is adorable, and I highly recommend coming here! ?
