Good food and very kind server in a quiet neighborhood location. Many of the orders to this restaurant are for pickup as the inside has only 7 tables and can handle a group of no more than six.Recent inflation has pushed prices higher which may strain affordability for some families.Food was well prepared and the menu provides a moderate diversity of sushi offerings and flavor combinations for maki (roll) sushi.
Excellent friendly service and good food at reasonable prices. Liked the Udon noodles, teriyaki, and hibachi (with custom hot sauce!) so much we went back a second time this weekend for the dragon roll sushi, pork katsu, shrimp tempura, and shrimp lo mein. Loved the house ginger salad dressing! Very fresh everything
Hidden Gem!! My husband and I wanted some GOOD FRESH SUSHI and rolled up on this place!!Excellent Customer Service ! ( Major for us !Everything was fresh and delicious!!! Nice little Cozy spot ! Not a crowded place with folk standing around to be seated.We had the Spicy Tuna and Salmon Rolls and they were absolutely delicious!!! Hibachi Chicken with fresh vegetables was delicious as well!!We highly recommend this spot !
The small sushi fusion restaurant is small, pretty clean and they do stress 6ft apart. Customer service was pleasant. Order the Spider roll and Spicy Cali roll on our first visit. Spider roll was just okay, it had radish inside and you get it at the end of chewing. The Spicy Cali roll was just okay with a hint of heat. I also ordered the garlic broccoli with sauce on the side. That is nothing but broccoli and a thin sauce to pour on the top which doesn't given me a Broccoli garlic taste. I would recommend that you try it and see if it fits your taste buds, however it will be my last visit.
One of my new favorites! This place has some of the best sashimi in Charlotte and the ramen was awesome. Great food coupled with great service.
We tried out Blue Orchid on our way to an event in Charlotte after conducting a search for Sushi in the area. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive during our dining experience. Sushi was fresh and Blue Orchid has a unique spin on some of the classics like Kani salad, Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon. At this time they do not have their liquor license, so you will not be able to have beer, wine or sake at this restaurant.
After a work day, this was a pleasant place to order some dinner. The place was nice and quaint and the staff was very friendly. While I was there, I did notice that they were sanitizing the menu. That made me glad that they were trying to keep things clean and safe for everyone. I ordered the pork tonkotsu Ramen and salmon sashimi. The flavor was on point and the portion was on par. Would recommend and will be back.

Just pulled out of the parking lot and felt compelled to write a review!This place is AMAZING. We ordered the lunch special two rolls for $9, (salmon and avocado and crunch Cali) the caterpillar roll and crimson roll.This is by far the freshest sushi I’ve had, I mean look at those nice pieces of salmon and tuna in those rolls! The rolls were big also, definitely not skimpy like I’ve had at other places.Our waiter was fantastic, a very nice gentlemen and super attentive and friendly. You don’t see that a lot anymore but you could tell he genuinely wanted you to have a great experience.I peeked at the sushi chef and was amused and amazed at how carefully he crafted our caterpillar roll. You could tell he takes great pride in what he does.When I’m back in Charolette this will definitely be my go to spot and I encourage everyone to give it a try!
Okay this place, blew me out the water and I'm from Charleston. Came up here to Carowinds with the family and decided on some ? and it was awesome. Really really close to my place back in Charleston I go to. But if you like fast food, great service, even though a really small place they will come get you out the car or call you. We actually left and had to turn around in all that traffic??♂️ but it was definitely worth it. Thanks
