Some of these absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had. The time of their switch from full menu to “late night menu” changes by the visit. The waiting staff and hostesses completely lack communication. After hearing the hostess say the full menu closed at 9:30pm and being given full menus at 8:58pm and seated, the waiter than brought over late night menu’s and stated they switch over at 9:00pm. This is after we had ordered an appetizer, from the full menu, and drinks. Then, the waiter brought those by and I asked for the check. 25 minutes later he came back to get the check. By this time, it was nearly 9:50pm and other eating establishments were closing at 10:00pm. This is a Friday night, not a Tuesday. Then, after leaving, I called back to speak to a manager and none were there, which is understandable. So I asked the hostess on the phone again when they switched to full menu and she stated 10:00pm. So is it 9pm, 9:30pm, or 10pm?Consistent communication is key!
Love this place! Their service is fast & on it. Food is delicious & their drinks are even better. Music at times on weekends, which is a good time & they're always running Specials. My favorite is their Bang Bang Shrimp under the Appetizers.
Always good food and low key vibes. Great customer service and the pretzel appetizer is mouth watering deliciously good. Full of garlic and parmesan. The key lime salmon was so refreshing that I wish they options for a bigger portion. I have to rate it a 5 star.
I was here on 6/18/22 and was lucky enough to get outdoor seating on that beautiful day. The waitress was so kind and patient. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Presentation was great, the dish just packed flavor. The waffle itself was delicious but the chicken nor thr home fries had flavor. I was very disappointed I love fries and if they added some salt and pepper it would've been good. You shouldn't have to depend on sauce or ketchup for flavor, they should enhance the dish.
The bartender was distracted and inattentive. The bar has a slight odor of vinegar (odd). The food was definitely tasty.
Met someone here for dinner. We had a very short wait until we were seated. We were lost in conversation and paying no attention to the menu. The waiter was very understanding and friendly. We finally ordered and our food came quickly. If you want some good food, get the shrimp and grits. Best I've ever had. Any item on the menu, I'm sure will not disappoint. If you are in the area go to Blackfinn. It was great!
The Balckened Chicken N Mac is amazing!!! Service was emaclent, with a party of 10 during lunch rush. Everything was hot and fresh!! Will be back!!!
Amazing place, servers kept up with the crowd, prices were honest, atmosphere was exactly what you want in a bar/eatery. The food was good and they really went out of there way for Jimmy. Bravo and a must visit
Met some friends for dinner at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Live music was setting up and had several VERY LOUD feedback issues that hurt our ears, and then the music was so loud after setup that we couldn't hear our friends at the same table. (We were at a table about as far away from the music as possible.) We had to move outside to be able to have a conversation, in 60-degree weather. The food and service were okay, but the overall experience just wasn't that great and Blackfinn will be far from my first choice for any other dinners with friends.
Very dissatisfied with managers at the NC location. I had a very special event planned and upon arriving there to a packed facility, upstairs reserved with teenagers, and no semi-private area in which I had reserved. I asked for the manager whom I reserved it with on the paper, she never come to speak with me, but another tried his best to accommodate us by putting table together at the staircase in front of the restrooms! The food was good but I won't be going back because customer service is not good at all...
