I got the crabby dip and the jalapeno cheddar burger and everything was amazing!!! My server was really kind and the food came out fast and hot. I'll be back in Charlotte in a few weeks and will definitely come by again!!
The Mac and cheese was disgusting, the kale was not seasoned and the tacos were just ok.. definitely not worth $20. Won't be back and definitely don't recommend it.Also, if you order take out and then decide to dine in, won't let you ...strange...
Wow! The self standing building may not look like much from the outside but the food is absolutely delicious. Inside, the eclectic, vibrant, and colorful decor is almost Caribbean in the way it feels. The completely vegan menu is large and it will take several visits to try the various dishes which I fully intend to do when back in town.
The Reuben with cheese fries side was 10/10. Great vegan food in the east Charlotte area!
The whole experience was great from the genuinely nice hostess to the gorgeous server everyone was amazing. The food was the best Vegan iv had since converting in 2017. Whenever I come to town you can rest assure I'll be back.

The food is always amazing! I'll have 1 of everything please. First time dining in...in a long while....and they have remodeled YES!...with updated flooring, ceiling, chair rail and probably much more. Always a great vibe! Our server, host...6 year vegan (all-in-one) doing it ALL up front is a super woman! She was great. We'll be back as usual!
I have loved this restaurant for years. The food is consistent for the most part. I have had the portabella bean bowl numerous times and it’s always delicious. The mushroom has a wonderful flavor it’s a wonderful meat alternative. I highly recommend you give it a try.When it comes to desserts I recommend you use caution. I can only recommend their carrot cake cupcakes they are tasty. I was trying to try something new and ordered the strawberry cake slice one for me and one for my children at 7 per slice I was disappointed. The slice was thin for the price but the taste was extremely sweet and dense. My two year old loves cake but this one he rolled it up in his paper plate and decided to toss it.Overall the food i have ordered through the years has made me a return customer. They also have a great brunch. I love their waffles!
First time here. I'm not vegan but went with a friend who is. I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors were tasty. Ordered tofu fingers k-bbq flavor (platter). Inside consistency was like a chicken nugget. I like tofu but this didn't taste like tofu. Fried pickles were the perfect crisp with vegan ranch and bleu cheese which both were very good! My other side was the Mac n cheese. (Let's just say I should have went with the collards instead).. My vegan friend's Mac n cheese is way better. I would definitely go back though to try other items on the menu. I hear the jalapeno burger is wonderful.
I've been a fan of Bean for many years now! Their fried tofu fingers are my favorite. They were one of the first restaurants to make vegan food accessible in the area and I will be returning often.
