The food was delicious, but the workers working there were strange. I pointed out to them that the price of the food was incorrect ($12.99 instead of $12 as advertised), and the worker told me he didn’t understand what I was talking about. After some clarification, he explained that the prices listed were not correct and that they tacked on the extra $0.99 (not tax) for everyone. I said whatever and paid, but the whole interaction was incredibly awkward. Not sure why they do that; I personally would rather have correct advertisement because I’ll pay whatever price is listed. The bao buns were still yummy; I got the Belly Bun, Falafel Bun, and Fried Chicken Bun. I preferred Belly and Fried Chicken ones, but they were all good.

Soup was okay but didn't come with the basics like corn and been sprouts, those are add ons. The broth has zero flavor. Pork was good.

We were in the mood for something different. We tried the Pork Belly Bun, Tofu and Falafel. The Tofu had the strong spicy flavor my husband prefers. The pork was real good, too! The falafel wasn’t bad. I was impressed with the employees working so hard getting orders out- they look very organized and together. We’ll be back!

Their green milk tea tastes JUST LIKE matcha flavored white rabbit candy. I haven't had better green milk tea anywhere. So sweet but so good!!!

Wish I could speak more highly of this place. I ordered for take out, and ended up getting all the available Bao’s and a Spicy Pork Ramen. I just didn’t enjoy any of the food. The Bao’s meats (and tofu) were all over cooked/under seasoned and the dough itself was lesser quality than what I’ve came to expect. The ramen broth wasn’t very good either, (no slurping occurred) and the ingredients in the Spicy Pork Ramen really didn’t compliment each other.I won’t be heading back to this location, but according to other reviews maybe my experience was unique.

There are soooo many food options at optimist hall. I had a taste for noodles and this place didn't disappoint. The ramen was FAN-TAS-TIC!!! I will try the bao next time. I did add the shredded cabbage to my dish and that was fresh and crunchy.

Being a self proclaimed expert in the art of eating delicious Asian noodles, I’m here to tell you that Bao & Broth got it right, where other Ramen joints fail. First off the packaging is absolutely pristine allowing you to assemble your perfect ramen regardless of travel, tasting like it was just ladled out of the mother batch, fresh & percolating. Another detail of finesse is that the egg is always, always perfectly cooked, even with travel, the egg holds up and delivers that velvety golden yolk that oozes through out the broth. Personally the egg is instrumental & at other places I will remove because it’s way over cooked and not appetizing. Not at Bao & Broth it’s an excellent enhancement to an already delicious bowl of noodles. The Boa Buns are delicious and the texture is, well textbook. I won’t ruin all the surprises, but trust me there’s more.

Not trying to exaggerate, but I cried a little bit when I ate these. The flavor was amazing, and I loved the sauce! Definitely going back

Good eats
