They had at least 6 people working which is great. Stood in line for 10 mins on a Sunday morning and didn't see 1 person receive food or order taken. They have the staff but no organization or training. Just walked out.

Fresh bagels! Love them. Like the location, close to where I live.Looks like an old place inside, but everything is delicious!

"How do I know your daughter used the bathroom? It could have been your wife and she could have clogged it with a tampon!" - The Owner "Go ahead and write a negative review, it will mean absolutely nothing! That's right, absolutely nothing!" - Mother and son duo of employees My six year-old daughter had a sudden potty emergency. Any parent knows what this is like. Well, the owner is not a parent. My wife literally raced in and ducked into the customers-only bathroom, understanding that we weren't customers but also knowing that most businesses themselves understand that young kids don't have many options when travelling and these sort of things happen. On the way out of the restroom, a young employee confronts her about how the bathroom is for customers only (they were literally putting chairs on tables at this time mind you). My wife was understandably surprised at both the tone and need to make this confrontation happen - it's embarrassing enough for a young girl and a mother to have to be in that situation to begin with. This was when the second quote above was launched. I then went in from the car to speak to them, as my daughter was in tears, and after a very uppity, puffed out chest demand that "he should be the one to deal with customers" from the 18 year-old employee as him, another younger employee, and the mother/other employee attempted to "deal with" me, the owner finally came out. I explained that as a former small business owner, I get that he of course has the right to reserve his bathroom for customers only, but as a part of a community I had never seen, nor personally engaged in, enforcing that rule on a young child who needed a place to go, and treating people the right way in that situation is what turns them into customers. And that's when the first quote above was said. He even said we should just have used a different private business instead, or somehow delayed the actual bathroom emergency into asking first (despite his employee making clear that he intended to enforce the rule regardless). I'll note I never once raised my voice or used foul language in this entire situation, and my wife only expressed surprise at the tone and nature of the initial confrontation. Well, he has the right to be that strict with a kid who has a potty emergency. It's his policy and it's his bathroom. I'm not saying he had to be ok with it, or doesn't have that right. But I have the right to tell other people here: if you, like me, are still looking for the perfect New York-style bagel place, maybe these guys have it food wise (I don't know), but they're the type of people who say those things above and make a scene over a six-year old using their bathroom. So keep that in mind in your search for a good bagel. Maybe this review will mean "absolutely nothing," but it needed to be said.

Nice New York bagel shop. Boars Head deli toppings.

Don't come here if you are in a hurry. They were playing around and not making food when there were a lot of people waiting. I didn't expect it to take long to make 2 sandwiches. Pretty disappointed. Also its really messy inside. No one is cleaning the tables off. There are 6 people working and 4 in the front. There is no reason it should take longer than 15 min.

Amazing bagels and pastries! I wish we would remember to come for lunch since their deli menu looks really good. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming.

I used to enjoy coming here but no more. Not masking despite the mandate, slow and inattentive staff that act like they are bothering you. Plus some guy sitting at a table - on the anniversary of the capitol storming - wearing an “American Patriot” hat. Gross.

I recently discovered this place after trying a few other bagel sandwich places and am so happy I found them! The people running the place are really nice and try to make their customers feel at home. Today was a little rough due to some equipment issues but the food was delicious and hot in the end ?? Definitely give them a try for breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches!

The customer service is beyond parallel. The bagels...outstanding. Highly recommended.

Nothing like a fresh bagel. They were still warm when I got home and they were not toasted!
