Went to have dinner on May 17th at 6PM with my friends and had wonderful experience the staff gave outstanding customer service good and drinks were excellent. The waitress the bartender nacho servers and manager made an unforgettable dining experience . Kudos on managers and staffing looked happy to work as a team synchronized. Jorge
The server was very good, the food was excellent. Pricing was moderate, but you get plenty of food. Only complaint I have the music is way way too loud. I can't I was with a friend and I can't hear what he's saying, and I don't read lips. When I go out to eat I like to enjoy my meal soft music in the background but I do not want to be yelling. I did ask the waitress if you could lower her and she absolutely did. He was very accommodating I asked for additional napkins and she brought them right over. Food was great service was great I would definitely recommend and I will be going back with my family.
The staff were great, and the restaurant was clean and looked good. However, the food was very disappointing. For $13, I would have expected more than overcooked shredded chicken that I had to pick out of my food because it was that gross. And the karaoke was too loud for me to be able to enjoy my time there. I couldn't hear the people I was with over it.
Service was great. My server was nice, thorough and welcoming! The food was very good too! The portions were big! I couldn't finish so I don't have a happy plate, but my belly was jumping with joy!! Yes, YES, YEEESSS I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great dining experience!!

Good traditional Mexican food restaurant. It has a very good atmosphere, service is good but the price have gotten very high. We did get a couple drinks though. Overall, it's very enjoyable experience. Will always come back.

We’ve been going to Azteca Smith Corners for about 15 years. We’d go out of our way to go there as we did today. Good until 3 pm when the overly loud Music came on. I saw several other customers with a similar look like WTH is this. We could no longer talk to each other nor hear the waitress. I know the loud music happens on karaoke night but in the middle of a Sat afternoon??? We asked to talk to the manager who of course never came to talk to us. He was holding the door as we left and I guess he does this all the time, but refused to listen to us, basically told us too bad, and then told us there was a camera watching us. Seriously what I’m the world was that about? We asked his name which he said was Eduardo but a scrap piece of paper he gave us last name is like Ubaldo Granada. This man should not be in any type job where he deals with the public, let alone as a manager of a restaurant. He listed his phone # as 704-598-9068. We’ve always enjoyed Azteca but we’re done and will not be going back. So unless you like very, very loud Mexican blasting music and one of the rudest managers I’ve ever encountered, I highly recommend you go to one of the other great Mexican restaurants and in the Charlotte area. And all of them treat their customers with respect. And don’t play blasting music in the middle of the afternoon! Avoid Azteca Smith Corners.
Fantastic place to eat! We go here quite frequently and we have never had a bad visit. The food is consistently great, and we have NEVER had a bad, rude, or inattentive server. They are all so polite, patient, quick to service, and attentive. Always a wonderful dining experience at Azteca!
Made reservations for my company Christmas Dinner two months ahead, called few weeks prior to the date to make sure they had it and was told that the manager wrote the wrong date but he changed and that everything was good to go. Needless to say that should have been my cue to go elsewhere got there 3 minutes early just to stand by the door with my guests and some of them had to stand outside for like 45 minutes and the apology was you guys are seated now so let’s start over, food was good and the waitress was okay until they started separating the tables before we were ready, I was giving the bill while standing around and was giving my receipts folded with the CC on top of it and yes I should have unfolded but is kind of hard when you are standing in the way of peoples leaving so on top of 20% the waitresses end up with another 24% tip which I don’t mind for outstanding customer service but this was just okay. Very disappointed and I’ll be having it elsewhere next year.
