Terrible margaritas made with some cheap mix that is way too sweet. Do NOT get the grilled octopus, it’s very very tough/chewy, over cooked. Guacamole is awesome.
We finally went to Azteca for the first time and it was FANTASTIC. We have a 5 and 7 year old who can be super picky and the staff was very accommodating and the kids ate all of their dinner. Which very rarely happens. Our waiter was so nice and attentive, the margarita was delicious and the prices were very reasonable especially for the portion sizes. This is definitely a new family favorite and we will for sure be back!
Amazing service from when you walk in the door to when you walk out! The food is amazing, the aguas frescas are great and the portions are huge! The staff is super professional and so attentive. We will definitely be back!
Wife and I used to love this place. Great food and good people. We last visited a year ago on her birthday because this was the only place in town that she enjoyed for Mexican cuisine. Tonight we came in and were told that we were a couple who was in here the other day who caused issues for other patrons and guests. Clearly mistaken for another couple as we had been out of state for several days and had time stamped photos showing as such. They also stated they had photos of our truck. We drive a car. We don't own a truck. After explaining this to them their story changed and said it was a month ago. Still havent been here and it was a car after we told them we have a car. It's a shame they don't want our business but we never spoke a word to anyone and when we requested they show the proof alongside their accusations they refused. Oh well. Best of luck on their future endeavors and we will find a establishment that is willing to take on new customers.
claimed we were patrons who caused a disruption and refused to pay the other day. when we furnished proof we were in Cincinnati they changed their story and said it was a month ago. we haven't visited since last year coincidentally also on my wife's birthday. she loves this place. claimed they have photos of our truck. we don't own one and even drove to the property in our car. they changed their story and said they had a photo of our car as well. unsure if they just didn't want us as patrons or something but they upset my wife on her birthday at one of her favorite establishments. I'd think twice before giving awful Business owners like these any business going forward. we will find my wife a new establishment that she can love and enjoy. I'd stay away from this one.
I came here about 2 weeks ago and feel in love worth the atmosphere. The servers were very tentative. They catered to everyone that was here eating. I am back this morning and I am grateful to see them in here cleaning the lights, the placements on the table and just making sure the restaurant is inviting. I love it here! I recommend this place with 10 stars! The food is awesome!!!
Very very good and authentic food! We had chicken fajita and the nachos and received free dessert.
Good authentic Mexican food. I ordered via DoorDash so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the food was great. I enjoyed the pollo con creama and an enchilada. Dinner came with chips and salsa as well, I will order again.

This is good authentic Mexican cuisine. I enjoyed dining at Azteca. The staff was very kind and friendly. They are not stingy with their food portions. Big plates of hot, delicious, and well seasoned food. Their margaritas are so good and flavorful. A hidden gem in Charlotte.
