Food was good but last two times I have been there the service has been incredibly slow - the waiters just sort of ignored us. Very confusing.
The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were epic
We have been to Arooji's before and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Mussels were tasty and my salad of hearts of palm and artichoke hearts was terrific. Entrees were equally good. The servers were personable and efficient. Altogether a great meal!
The pesto gnocchi was amazing! The wine was DELICIOUS!! They have an amazing selection!! For sure coming back the next time I’m in Charlotte!!!
What a gem tucked away off Providence! Absolutely gorgeous restaurant with a huge wine selection and delicious food! Service was excellent--Thanks Angel! Also a special treat if you can get the barrel room, our group loved having our meal in there.

Lasagna and lamb were incredible! Hospitality 10/10. The risotto lacked flavor but we felt so welcomed we would still return.
Food is consistently excellent and service is consistently friendly but very very slow, despite the fact that there seem to be plenty of waiters and bussers for the limited number of occupied tables.
We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight because we had a Restaurant.com certificate. Thought we’d give it a try since we love wine and we love good Italian. We were told after arrival from our waiter in consultation with the owner that they no longer accept Restaurant.com certificates. A little disappointed- BUT they did what they could to make it right. Now onto the food. We started with Caesar salads and then decided on the pasta Vodka and the Bolognese. Let me just say- the flavors took me straight back to our vacation in Umbria, Italy. The quality, richness and flavors were on par with the best food we had in Italy. Hats off to the chefs. We found our new favorite Italian place. Great wines too- not overly generous pours but terrific wines nonetheless. A wonderful evening out.
