I ordered yesterday……and I love supporting my ppl but they good was nasty. The Rasta pasta was gross, the food wasn’t hot. The cabbage was bland and the swank top wasn’t closed or Covid protected so I’m not sure if the dasher drink out of my drink or not so I had to throw it away. Food quality isn’t the same at all. Will not order again
Had curry goat with rice and peas. I married a Jamaican so I know good Jamaican food. This was edible but not a lot of flavor I was looking for.
Plenty of parking. Dined inside. Clean dining area. Tasty food in large dine-in portions. Took home leftovers. The Jamaican lemonade was tasty (not too sweet). I wanted to order the coconut cake or the Key lime pie, but I was already full. This restaurant is beside the Food Lion grocery store, so that's a bonus to get some last minute groceries before heading home. I enjoyed my dining experience at Anntony's restaurant.
This place was simply incredible. Everything we ordered felt like it could have been from a more expensive restaurant, the quality was so good. There was also practically no wait; we put our order in, and they had it out, hot and fast. I specifically ordered the ribs, and it was exceptional. Between the friendly staff and good food, you are doing yourself a disservice if you mis Anntony's.
Third chance just because it was closest. Six years ago it may have been good. I don't see the owner anymore. Roti is soggy. The one woman in the kitchen can't cook west Indian food. It's so sad. There are kids running the front who are not trained or serious. Pandemic has taken it's toll. Pay more for less, lack of respectful service and gross food. Homemade from now on. We tried Anthony but my daughter was in tears because of your female cook. I had to go in request a refund and leave.
The food was very underwhelming. This is not Caribbean food. The jerk chicken tasted like it was marinated in vinegar. The oxtail wasn’t seasoned properly, did not have any Caribbean flavors at all! The rice and peas were the best part of the dish but I didn’t expect to see black eye peas but authentic rice and peas. My orders were messed up and then they ran out of food. Would not recommend anyone to eat here.
The food here is horrible!!! This should never be deemed as Caribbean food. The ramen noodles they call rasta pasta is a huge disrespect to the West Indian culture. If I could’ve given this place a 0 rating I would’ve. You want real Caribbean food and you can’t make it to Jamaica come to New York.
today was my first time trying anthonys , since relocating to the new city i am very very pleased, the plate given is defiantly worth the cost that will win over other places every time, some of my cabbage pieces were not done but the food service and value of food portion is unbeatable and great ! i will for sure come back
I was so upset when my boyfriend got home with the food after anticipating it. I hate leaving bad reviews but the only thing that was good about this experience was the young man who took the order he was very kind. The food however was horrible! When I saw the “Rasta pasta” I could have screamed. I am Caribbean and this is nothing close to authentic Caribbean food
Food was delicious! I had peas and rice, cabbage, and plantains. My husband had jerk chicken, peas and rice, and cabbage. Good portion size. Very filling. I would recommend to everyone.
