Authentic Mexican tacos are not hard to make. If you are not grilling the skirt steak and cooking it on a stove top or griddle the fajita skirt steak should be marinated. Pineapple juice is often used to marinate the fajita skirt steak for 24 hours so that it breaks down the fibers in the meat. If it is done the correct way the fajita skirt steak is tender and not dry and chewy. I was extremly disappointed and went off the reviews. Lately Charlotte has gone down hill with local restaurants often increasing prices yet a complete let down to go eat because the quality is just not there. I do not mind paying the cost but places need to understand if you will charge what they do they often need to ensure the quality matches. I was not impressed. I'm from Houston and taquerias in Charlotte do not compare.

I was running errands and wanted to grab a quick bite, and happened to see Anita's show up as a restaurant that was close by. I decided to give them a try and I am soooo glad I did! The employees were positive and attentive, and the food was delicious! I saw a couple other orders, and each dish looked better than the last... I will definitely visit again!
This place may be busy but they move incredibly fast and great amount of food & TASTY. This is a naked burrito. Will be back for more
This review is based on my first visit and my first impression was Anita's is a small place that's a little too crowded. after being there a few minutes I realized the line was moving really fast and the staff was exceptionally friendly. I had a hard shell beef taco and the grilled chicken Street taco, both were served hot huge and delicious, now I understand exactly why it was crowded. I'm looking forward to returning soon to explore more of their menu. It's a great place for a quick delicious lunch.
My first time to Anita’s Mexican Grill for lunch. Got 2 taco’s - Carnitas and satisfied my taco craving.
Me and my co workers went here for lunch and 2 of my co workers ate the lazy burrito I kid you not once we got in the car they fell asleep the whole way back to the office that was some great food don't even get me started on my 2 beef tacos and their beans and rice will highly recommend going here

Enjoyed my meal at Anita's. Had the number one Chile relleno, taco, and rice. Carne asada taco was yummy. Good Mexican food.
I’ve been eating here for some years now, & the food is absolutely delicious every single time!! I love the chicken tortilla soup & the steak, chicken, & shrimp nachos. The customer service is always top notch. I’ve never had any complaints whatsoever!
