First time trying Authentic African food and it did NOT disappoint!Cashier was extremely helpful, I went with family and he let us try a sample before we ordered as well as answer all our questions (and there was a lot).Went last week and already been back multiple times definitely recommend!Pictured: Egusi Soup & chicken w/ Fufu , Pineapple Jamaican Sof Drink
Definition of mid. Travelled a long way for some African food for my school project and man, man was I let down. Took like an hour and some to finally get all our food ready. They didn't even have to plate it cuz we had it ordered for take out. The food didn't look like the pictures, the goat meat served was half bone and only got like 4 pieces. The okra and rice was ok but the other foods were far from enjoyable. Spent 80$ and half of it is going in the trash. Coulda got a helluva nice meal somewhere else for that price. Place is another hole in the wall. Would not recommend.
everything this place is wonderful n the staff is awesome
Went here with a friend last night for dinner and got the Egusi. It was great! Brought the left overs home to my mom!!! She loved it! The seasoning in my opinion could’ve been a bit stronger, but after a dash of salt it was fine. Really great!
Friendly staff. Ordered Efo Riro/fufu; with goat as protein. The goat was tough, dry/old and flavorless. I was also charged $12 for a cheap shot of tequila that I have never heard of! The best part of the meal was the fufu, and anyone can make that, even a child! Apparently, this business, based upon reading the reviews have cheated other people. A $20 meal ended up costing me $36; which did not include my $5 tip, and the wait for the food was more than 30 minutes. It even took about 15 minutes for me to get that $12 shot of cheap tequila! Patron Silver doesn’t even cost $12 a shot. And, they were out ALL imported beer. Also, surprisingly they don’t offer finger bowls/nor towels to dine in customers. I was told you have to request it. I will never donn the door of this business again and I love Nigerian food. But, I am going to go elsewhere in the future and I advise you to do same.
I cheated on zowesses And so upset I spend almost 14$ a piece for potato greens this is not no patato greens I'm sorry but this is nasty?
I can't not give even a star to this restaurant, I placed and order and requested for Uber to pick the order up and i was told my order wont be ready for an extra 25mins RUDELY, I called back later to speak to the Manger about the matter the representative spoke to me that i did not appreciate that tone and attitude on the phone she same representative claimed to be the manager and continued with the terrible phone attitude, and hang the call on me. RUDELY again. I have not tasted the food yet. But if your attitude is bad i hope your food not bad too. The management should look into their staffs.
The food was good and fresh the staff was nice the only downside to it is that the jollof rice is delicious but you don't get enough chicken... You basically pay $14 for a plate of rice and one piece of chicken... And I don't like the fact that they charge $1.50 for one bottle of water when you could buy a case of water for $2 and a can of soda was $1.50 when you can buy a 12 pack for $3 other than that the food was delicious and it was nice and clean
Cute place, It is clean and inviting.African music for background noise and the staff was very nice and politeBUT THE FOOD WAS SALTY!!!! (Cassava leaf)I’m hungry andI’m disappointed ?
Amazing food. Quick and friendly service. Cassava leaves, rice, and chicken were flavorful and a large portion. Would definitely come again!
