I ordered takeout from this restaurant and the food was definitely packaged well. The sides were really good but the chicken was overly salty. Perfectly fried but the taste was a little overwhelming...I'll try them out again and choose something different.
This food is really good! I enjoyed everything, I ordered. I will be ordering again. Thank you, 31 flavors, for such flavorful food and great service!
Pork chop had no taste. I’ve never in my life tasted mushy greens. They were mushy, & not seasoned. Food cost to much to be over cooked & not seasoned well. First & last time.
I am only giving them 2 stars because of the yams. I Ordered a smothered pork chop plate. They literally dipped a grilled to beyond DRY pork chop into some watered down gravy and put it on a plate (no breading, not deep fried which makes it not a smothered pork chop by southern standards) the pork chop was tough and dry. I Decided to give it a try & I know what I will not be trying again
I am disabled and live in a nursing home and the food here is horrible so when my family put money on my card I get me a soul food meal I'm not from Charlotte so I don't know about the restaurants here I tried 2 other places and they were good and worth the money the pork chops I got from here had to be some of the thinnest and most dry I have had mac and cheese and cabbage ok but I'll stick to chicken box for big juicy pork chops. And I was a chef before I came to be disabled I know food
Just tried for the first time. I got meatloaf, green beans and cabbage! The green beans and meatloaf was absolutely full of SALT. Cabbage had no seasoning at all. This was awful!! Green beans also seemed to have residue like they gad not been cleaned
The fried chicken was hard and had way too much salt. The chicken was refried. My first and last time!
If you think this is the best you obviously don’t know good soul food
REALLY good. We got the jerk wings, yellow rice, crab mac and cheese, BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese bowl, collared greens, and banana pudding. And my wings came with cornbread. Everything was unbelievably good. This will be a regular spot for us and I can't wait to try everything else on the menu.
