My experience at 1501 S Mint has been nothing less than amazing. It’s a spacious inside and outside bar with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is filled with friendly people and good vibes. I will definitely be back.

I came here 6/17/22 to celebrate a coworkers retirement. Initially it seemed like a nice spot, but I was wrong! I sat on one of the love seat and one of the legs broke. Then after the staff attempted to fix it and could not the lady at the door told me I would have to stand up. After I expressed that it was unacceptable that I'm asked to stand because the furniture broke, our party was moved to another table. Once we were done buying the drinks we were asked to get up because we weren't buying a "bottle!" So as we were ending our night and standing at the opening of building we were asked once again to move!! Why would you treat customers this way when you don't know who we are or who we know! They need a 0 star!! Will never return nor promote this business!!!!!

Discrimination at its finest, me and my boyfriend BOTH walked in with terry cloth shorts on and only I could walk in. White guy at the door had his mind made up once he saw my boyfriend walk up and had no explanation to why I could walk in but he couldn’t. Not to mention there were other men inside with non-dress shorts.

I wish I could give them a ZERO and get a refund at the same time. The main issue I have with this establishment is with the chick that was checking me in…she was not only rude, hostile and then called security on me. Mind you I’m active duty; she was an AKA so I did expect better, but once again…sadly disappointed. Then she gave me back my Military ID and said it wasn’t an “ID” cause it wouldn’t register in the system. We really have to do better to protect our brand, because she was clueless and if she did this to me, you know she did this to others. I’m not from the area, but what I do know is not to do business with this establishment again whenever I am in Charlotte.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My girlfriend and I went there on a Saturday around 7 p.m. We were charged $20 EACH for entry only to find that there was no seating available. Seats were "reserved" and had a minimum spend of $75. It was a racket and they clearly have a poor business model based on other reviews.

I actually really used to love this place, so much that some of the bartenders know me by my face and speak to me when I am out. Anyhow the treatment I received on May 28th was unacceptable. The POS system must need updating because this is the 3rd I was told to pay my membership fee from April… the larger problem is the attitude of the staff. After she demanded I pay my membership fee I told her I was here recently and I have the receipt to show I have paid my membership… instead I was told I was not a member and to get to the back of a line. The hierarchy attitude left a very bad taste in my mouth… and is completely unnecessary when I am a frequent member looking to have a good time.

This place is ridiculous. 20.00 “membership fee” you can’t sit anywhere unless you pay 75-100 bucks for limited time if two hours max lol . No hookah at the bar or anywhere else unless it’s a paid table. Feel like I’m at my grandparents reunion with how low the music is lol I’ll give it to them it’s in a neighborhood but still doesn’t give fun/live vibe.

They wanted to not do a members line on a Saturday night, which is fine I'm not a member but they were holding lines and there were two lines and you couldn't pay to skip line so didn't understand the point of that. Not only that you had people skipping to get to the front of the line stating they have been in and one chick stated that they didn't and asked my people if we wanted to skip too. Guess she felt bad for skipping us. Not only that but the bartenders are rude and not attentive to the crowd where you can be at the bar and they are on their phones or talking to someone they know that's at the bar. Beyond that the drinks are too pricey I got 5 shots and somehow that came up to be $89 bucks??? It wasn't top shelf where I can get shots about $8 bucks or so a piece. So yeah never coming back here again this establishment needs a rework on how they run business.

Great atmosphere and great service.

Great music, seating VERY limited. My 1st times here the bartender charged me 70$ for two drinks and had to the nerve to tell me she included a tip (excuse me). Then they started us at a table but hours later moved us to another table to accommodate some people who wanted to be seated with a large party, after we'd been seated there for HOURS, they moved us to another table only to ask us to move again after an hour or maybe an half hour, we moved right out the door. They never have a variety of drinks, ALWAYS out of liquor and a very very selective beer menu. They only have 2 bathrooms so the WAIWAIT too use the restrooms are outrageous. Not to mention the restrooms are never clean. The place needs staff to check on the restrooms periodically, especially with the large staff they have, that's just ridiculous. They make to much money to only have 2 bathrooms with over 800 people patronizing this establishment. The hookahs are good only problem is if you're sitting outside, which majority are, the wind blows your coals which makes the hookah burn faster because they're not covered and you'll have to pay an additional 20 on top of the 35/40$ for a refill. The place is made out to be more than what it is. Smh.
