Very nice restaurant. Great service. Cozy atmosphere. Nice drink menu and reasonable entree pricing. We had the smoked salmon as a starter and was most delicious. My husband had the ribeye that was marinated in pineapple and soy; was amazing! I chose the Cobb Salad and was very good! Will be back to dine again, and would recommend!

131 MAIN is absolutely delicious! Great variety of options including steaks, seafood, salads, sandwiches, and delicious appetizers! You really can't go wrong. This is my dad's favorite restaurant and he always gets the shrimp and grits- absolutely delectable every time! I've tried several different things and have never been disappointed. Today I tried the crab cakes for the first time and loved them! Not too heavy yet extremely flavorful and juicy in a delicious sauce. Try the double dip and the deviled eggs for appetizers! (best deviled eggs EVER!)
Sooooooo...did ya'll know that 131 MAIN Restaurant added a Cajun Pasta to their menu and like everything else on there menu it is AMAZING. One of the finest restaurants in south Charlotte. Very elegant and secluded from your everyday crowd. Plenty of fresh seafood options along with great selection of wine. Reasonable price for a 5 star restaurant. Excellent customer service. Food is amazing as well!
This was our first time here and will definitely be going back. Our waitress Avery was AMAZING!!!!! We had the halibut and the lamb shank, with the tuna tower for appetizer.
This is the third time we are dining at this restaurant. Our experience was mixed. Given that it was Mother’s Day, there was a fairly good crowd even for our 7:45 reservation. We were seated on time and were waited on by Dee, who was pleasant and quite attentive. Unfortunately, the salmon was over cooked and dry. I could barely finish a third of it. It lacked any flavor. On the other hand, the baby back ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious. The P$J slaw that we both got as a side was a definite hit. Given that more than half of the entree was sent back unfinished, I would think the management would have done something to show their good will.

Their open bar seating is bright, enthusiastic, and full of options! On the other hand make a reservation to have one of their darkened spot lit tables and you will have an amazingly intimate and secluded dining experience. The darkness and special lighting really make the meal here! Or enjoy their evening shaded patio complete with outdoor fireplaces and relaxing music for an easy going night out escape.Food:All around the food is impeccable and unparalleled. Masterfully prepared and presented you can expect consistency from the exclusive dishes they offer. My favorite entree is definitely the braised lamb shank. Cooked to perfection and fall off the bone tender the flavor and decadence of the meat, sauce and potatoes can take your breath away and have you planning your next time to come back for more! Please take the opportunity to try their cornbread, they honestly need to be awarded for this creation as it far surpasses any other cornbread offering I have tried in the south!Price:I’d describe their pricing in the $$$-$$$$ realm, however it is well earned. If you are after impeccable service and connoisseur level drinks and dinner plates this is the place for you at a reasonable rate for level of service and portions.A true five star experience, 131 MAIN should be on your list of top places to go for a visit or special occasion!

The atmosphere is great. There is outside dinning. The servers are fantastic. The food is fabulous. You must have there cornbread appetizer. The baby back ribs are to die for. The manager is total class and charm. Very great place to dine. It was my birthday dinner and 131 Main made it special.
