We had a fantastic waiter - Alex took great care of us!
Great place to meet friends for a meal. The food was good and our server, Alex, was outstanding.
I love Townhall Burger and Beer! Unfortunately, they had an unexpected issue come and they had to close. I was referred to their sister restaurant Town Hall Grill in Southern Village. I ordered online for takeout. What a disappointment! I arrived at the designated pickup time and the hostess immediately said my order would not be ready for at least another 15 minutes (I already waited 35 minutes and questioned this because I just received a text saying more order was ready!) I asked the same hostess to check with the kitchen; she said Doordash was always wrong and reluctantly went back to kitchen, came back said it was going to be at least 20 minutes more! I sat down to wait and less then 2 minutes later someone brought out my order. The food was good but it is a shame this hostess doesn’t know how to handle such situations with customers, doesn’t represent the restaurant well and has an attitude that doesn’t befit someone in a service industry.
Two visits the THG this week. Tuesday dinner and Thursday lunch.Seated immediately both times. Had a wait for the food on Tuesday as they were doing a charity event but the barman kept checking on us to explain and to make sure we were OK.On both occasions the food, Greek salad with grilled chicken, burgers and nachos was excellent. Will definitely eat here again when in the area ??
I love the food ! Excellent customer service
Great local grill with the works- salads, burgers, pasta, cocktails and desserts. We ordered the blackened fish sandwich from the specials, and an old favorite “Town hall burger.” Fish was tender and delicious with the house made sauce.Ordered a few local ales and the Blackberry Lemonade- refreshing and tasty! Finished off with the chocolate chip bread pudding that was served warm with caramel sauce.Service was excellent. Ximena was prompt, helpful and friendly.
I had been wanting to try this place for a while. I had company coming into town and decided to give it a shot. Overall I was disappointed with the food and the service.Came here yesterday around 2:30. Took almost fifteen minutes for a sever to come take our drink order. We didn’t get our drinks until 3pm. I used to wait tables and if it had been super busy I would have understood. But I saw other staff standing around the hostess stand or leisurely walking around the restaurant. On top of the that the restaurant was mostly empty. It’s not a good look.
First time visit. We googled burgers near us and this restaurant popped up. Let me start with the positive. The actual burger buns were impressively good! The sweet potato fries with the special dipping sauce is a must try! The dipping sauce is amazing and a nice compliment. The service, very professional, very friendly, inviting and welcoming. Now for the negative. The cook on the burgers. We asked for medium. We got "Well Done"! Like really well done. That ruins the burger. My husband asked for medium rare and received medium which is what you may need to ask for if you want medium. But his burger was really good. Also, a little heavy on the mayo.
Excellent food and service. Burgers, wings, shrimp tacos all tasty and excellent value. Definitely will be back to this neighborhood treasure!
I love the Town Hall Burger without bacon! This is absolutely the best burger in the Triangle! It is cooked to perfection. It is gooey and juicy to the last bite. It takes a few napkins to get through it but worth it! I wish I had been to this restaurant sooner as we live in Hillsbourgh. Their Bloody Marys on Sundays are to die for but be careful of the Spicy Bloody Mary! It is pure FIRE! Our favorite waitress is Kelli and she knows what I like and always takes great care of us. Great outdoor area with heaters!
