We drove to chapel hill to visit this cafe. By the time we arrived, the food truck was closed so we had to get lunch elsewhere. Some of the menu items where also unavailable. I would recommend going earlier during weekends. We also came too early in the season to pick the blue berries. The drinks we got taste like standard coffees and chais. I would recommend coming here mainly for the atmosphere. It is spacious with a play area for kids, sitting areas to chat with friends and fields to walk around.

This place has a lot of personality and is cute to visit, but has a ways to go in terms of experience. I live the outdoor feel of this place, the seating, the playground, the fields and plants, but the natural woods parking can be rough, especially if you have a low car. I was also disappointed in the speed of service. We ended up leaving because we didn’t want to want over and hour for a drink and another 30-45 minutes for food. When places are this busy and understaffed it also typically leads to less safety for those with allergies and dietary restrictions. I’d love to go back hopefully on a less busy day and see if it is possible to enjoy the aesthetic.

This place is adorable. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere - but that's why it's so charming. Great tea, amazing settings and a nice selection of tasty mead. There's a food truck close by and picnic benches to enjoy food and drinks. There's also a tea and herb garden. It's a great place to hang out with friends and have amazing conversations or just be by yourself and relax or work.

After finding on IG, my husband and I visited one lovely Saturday afternoon. I had the expectations of having tea in a beautiful, country, outdoor setting as pictured on IG and the website. When we arrived, I was underwhelmed by the shabby surroundings and lack of dining options. We ordered cold teas and both were delicious and refreshing. While standing in line to order, we saw large bags of chips made in NC. The cashier told me they cost $6!!! That is steep so I passed. Food was served at the food truck but I did not order so I cannot tell you if it was any good. I don't think I would come back unless they were having a real event. I enjoy nice outdoor spaces but this place was not my cup of tea.

This place has a great vibe and is a fun place to bring the kids, especially on the days with live music.Unfortunately, the service is dismal. On every single visit (we've been there maybe a dozen times) there are clearly undertrained kids working the counter and no experienced person in sight. It's almost inevitable they'll mix up our order or miss something. On nice days when it's busy it can take 30mins+ to get a tea or espresso. All that being said, it's a great place to hang out and we'll keep coming back and hoping for an improvement in the service.

Cute atmosphere, but really not much else going for this place. Service wasn't rude, but wasn't very personable, either. My wife and I went to try the meads and ciders and grab a quick bite to eat, however, their options were limited and when we saw a charcuterie board someone else had ordered come out, it looked like a small Lunchables box. They had a food truck, but not very many options, especially for vegetarians. Meads and ciders were not the best, tea was okay, but not my flavor.

I am a college student in the area, me and my friends have been going to the tea house for a while now. It’s one of our favorite study spots and is usually wonderful in every aspect. However, recently we have noticed a steep decline in services. The people working are always super helpful and friendly but the tea, food, smoothies, and mead have been reduced or in cases not offered at all. This is concerning considering tea and mead are their main products. For the food products that are available pricing is extremely inconsistent. Since the closing of the upstairs services we have been extremely disappointed. We would like to think this is simply a transition period but unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the case.

Had the strongest tea they offered, was lovely and had a pleasant chocolately note. The baristas are super helpful and walk you through the various caffeination levels, sweeteners, and add-ins. The outdoor seating is lovely, will definitely return for the fire pit.

I cannot say enough good things about the Tea House! This place is truly amazing; it's a unique oasis that encourages connection between us and the Earth in such an inviting way. Truly "farm to table" in its approach and atmosphere, visitors are able to enjoy the local teas, herbs, mead, and plants grown here both in the form of food/drink and aesthetics. Recommended by a friend, I've come to this place several times now, and each time I enjoy a new aspect of it. My now husband and I love this place so much that we rented out the upstairs part of the Tea House for our small and intimate wedding reception last month. It was lovely! The team at the Honeysuckle, particularly Svetlana and Austin, were so helpful and friendly. They genuinely cared about giving us an evening to remember, and they took on the burden of planning and coordinator for us so that we could enjoy time with our guests. We had a buffet dinner catered through the Honeysuckle's partner restaurant in Durham, and the food was excellent! We had multiple guests comment on how good the food was, as well as the overall atmosphere of the Tea House. We want to sincerely thank everyone there and all the staff that we worked with for helping us create the most beautiful wedding celebration. We couldn't have asked for better! We will cherish the memories for a lifetime.

Eclectic little spot in the middle of no where! We didn’t get to do the tea room but did enjoy the Mead house! Another warm weather place to visit.
