Cute little ramen/poke shop on Franklin Street. I got the tonkotsu ramen and a mango slushie. Both were kinda expensive, but really good! The mango slushie was honestly comparable to any other store on Franklin. The ramen was really heavy and rich! Probably better for a colder day. Still a great experience. The inside is pirate/island themed which is cute! My waiter was super sweet!

The takoyaki is phenomenal and the tonkatsu (especially if you ask for it with their homemade chili paste) will blow you away. 5/5. A ramen place done right.

We had a wonderful experience at Pirate Captain! Staff was very friendly and kind and the food was so delicious. We had the chicken karaage ramen and the blueberry slushee. Tasted like fresh blueberries. Everything was great quality and the portions were plentiful.

Very nice restaurant! We order poke bowls for delivery often and enjoy our dine in Ramen ( both chicken and seafood are delicious ?)

This is my favorite ramen place. The food is always really good. Everyone that works there is nice. Poke bowl and pork bun are also on spot. And all the foods are very great portions!

The food has always been, and still is some of the best. If you're looking for some top quality Ramen, with great apps as well, this is the place. I definitely recommend the Tonkotsu if you like pork. They are also Vegan friendly.

Phenomenal ramen. Best since I’ve gone to Japan, and perfect portion sizes. Everything was perfect. Get the Tonkotsu Pork Bowl!

Great poke bowls in Chapel Hill ! The portions were generous, especially the fish, and all the ingredients were great quality. The service was very friendly and willing to help answer my friend's questions and give suggestions. I have not been during peak hours, so I can't speak for lines, but my bowl was super quick to come out. I will definitely be coming back!

Best Ramen I've had!!! We also ordered takoyakis and they were good as well but wow I was so blown away by the Ramen. The mushrooms were so delicous. They were so soft and juicy. Ive never had such good mushrooms before! I was amazed. I went there with my husband and the waitress was great too. I looked around and loved how they cooked right there, and that there's a more private room for maybe a friend or family celebration who wanted to be in a room together. Also very cool with the drinks and poke bowl area as well. It's a very cool concept and I will be coming back whenever I'm in town again!

Came in to grab takeout. Host was really kind and communicative. Asked for a recommendation for ramen and she immediately said tonkatsu, so that's what I got (~$15 including tax).Had seen a sign on the window advertising $1 mystery milk tea with entrees, but for dine in only. I asked and she said she could add a milk tea for $1.75.Tea (including boba) was ready in about 5 - tasty! Food was ready in 10 minutes. While waiting, I got to notice all the little things in the restaurant. It's decorated really cleverly - a very cute nautical theme, but there's a lot of creative use of frugal materials to make it look impressive. Hats off to the designer(s).The ramen broth was packaged separately, which was perfect. I microwaved it then added it to my bowl, which included noodles, bean sprouts, the classic ramen egg, some bamboo shoot (menma), a couple pieces of bok choy, green onion, corn, and 3 slabs of pork belly. Felt nice to have a little extra broth to add when my bowl got low. I'm not a ramen expert, but it was quite delicious. The pork belly and broth in particular were remarkably rich.
