Pho Happiness is a staple of Chapel Hill! I was able to coordinate with them for catering, and they were very nice and accommodating. Not to mention, their food was a hit! I highly recommend this place for anyone in the need of a great bite to eat.

CLOSED UNTIL JUNE 15TH. There is a sign on the door that they had a family emergency and will be closed until then. I hope the family is doing well and everything is okay, we love eating at this place. They have a wonderful house pho.(I am not affiliated with the family nor the business, just a local that wanted people to know they are closed at the moment)

This restaurant is the best deal in town. The food is delicious, I recently went to The Lantern across the street and paid more than twice as much for a similar dish that was not nearly as good. $12 gets you enough pho for two meals with lots of vegetables. The lemongrass chicken is another favorite. On top of that, the owner maybe? Or chef? It is so sweet and considerate. Last night we accidentally kept him there late while eating outside, because the dining room is closed. And he still brought us water and checked on us. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

Disclaimer: Only ordered the pho, cannot speak to the non-liquid dishes.A garden of irregularly cut vegetables lounge in a tame broth. Neglected, they long for a makeover into an entirely different dish.

I normally love Pho Happiness but this time they fell short. My House Pho with extra lime had no lime at all. Neither did it have the standard basil and cilantro leaves nor the jalapeno pepper slices. Moreover the the Chicken Lemongrass Rice had no rice but noodles instead even though I was charged extra for the rice. Very disappointed.

Pho was very subpar and unathentic. Ordered the banh mi and that too was very mediocre. The vermicelli bowl wasnt hitting on much at all. The egg rolls tastes refried and old. Im sorry I havent been able to find any thai or vietnamese food in the area that's authentic

The owner and staff are awesome!! Thanks James and Hanna

Excellent Pho, wonderful housemade eggrolls and James our server made sure that everything was to our liking ?

Service is horrible. Called the order in at 5pm. The cashier said 30 mins it’ll be done. My mom drove 30 mins to go pick it up and waited until 6:30pm, it was not done. They said 20 more minutes so we cancelled the order and they said that’s fine they didn’t even start making it yet…. It’s not that hard to tell a customer the true wait time. I run a restaurant myself and always inform the customer if it’ll take longer than we told them.

Good Pho is hard to find, so I'm glad we found this place; it's happiness for sure. The pho and Orange Chicken we're both great. Definitely worth stopping by.
