Food was subpar. Every dish tasted about the same. Flavor was bland and did not taste fresh. Overpriced for what we got. Staff barely spoke and very unfriendly. I would never return.
Not impressed…. Walked up to order a simple meat and vegetable dish with eggrolls. When I went to pay the price was about four dollars more than printed on the menu. Person at the counter said that they have a sign outside indicating you need to go to the website to see the updated prices…. Dish was taken immediately to be eaten about 2 min away. Broccoli was way overdone. Couldn’t tell it wasn’t frozen. Shrimp overdone as well. Portion size was good but sauce was bland and oversalted. Inside while waiting, customer came up and asked if they could be seen my waitress and took a menu from the counter.
$84.00 meal takeout tonight and they left out an entire $17 roll of the 2 rolls my wife ordered. We also had 3 separate miso soups but they gave what tasted like one watered into 2. This place is way too expensive for this kind of stuff. I normally just dispute restaurant stuff on my credit card since it's not worth arguing with folks who don't remember anything about your order.
This was a fantastic gem I had found while exploring the area with my partner. I had a typical entree, Hibachi Chicken with Miso soup. The food itself was amazing in flavor. I recommend considering bringing Ginger Sauce as well, as it is considered a staple with every hibachi order. We were the only patrons there for the longest time, so if you are looking somewhere that isn't crowded and promptly serves you, Moon Asian Bistro will get it done.Their parking situation is a little strange. In the front there are only about 5 spots, all of which were full, however no other customers were inside. I imagine those parked where employees or patrons of nearby businesses. There is ample parking in the back. Management: I'd recommend ensuring the business entrance/exit on that side is easily accessible, this way folks don't have to walk on grass to come inside. The menu prices have changed, but not by much. Don't let this out you off from the fantastic food. Management: I recommend prioritizing creating new menus, or at least create a digital menu that is up to date and can be easily changed with low cost.Overall, you will not regret your visit here.
This bistro serves Chinese, Thai and Sushi. I've been there numerous times and would definitely go back. I found the Chinese items to be most authentic and the Thai dishes to be bland in their flavors. I highly recommend the fried dumplings and hot and sour soup. The drunken noodles were mushy and shrimp was over-cooked, so not my favorite. I've also tried their sushi and everything was fresh and tasty, but its a bit pricey (50% higher) compared to other venues in the area. For Chatham county, this is a gem so I suggest that you give it a try. They even serve glass noodles as an option with many dishes!
We tried this place again, first time servers were rude and food was blah… Wanted this cuisine tonight, my panda place was close, so we said what the heck. Walked in, wasn’t acknowledged… Just a hello would have been nice…. Get my food, come home and they forget the sauce! Commmmeeee on! I called, didn’t know what to expect, I just wanted to vent more then anything, but $15 meals and forgetting sauce and then tell me the manager would call - I got no call. Please go somewhere else, this place does not deserve your business in our area.
Was a good amount of people dining in. Service was great. The food was fresh.
Overall this was a good meal. But there is room for improvement. the calamari was from a large squid and they were a little chewy. There were a couple of large clumps that should have been dropped into the oil separately. The sauce was way too sweet and really didn’t add much to the dish. I asked for some sriracha and got a delightfully hot chili oil. Why not add some to the sweet sauce? The Korean scallion and onion pancake was decent. Could have used a little more egg a little less rice flour in mix. The sauce was flat. The moo shu was really good large in portion but only four cakes add two more this would be perfect for two people. The red curry shrimp was fantastic over brown rice. The brown rice deserves a mention as being one of the best I’ve had.$63 for two appetizers and two entrees. Make the portions a little smaller and reduce the price and you’ll have a winner.
The sushi here is always delicious and the employees are very friendly. It’s a little disappointing that they did away with the three roll combo. Overall, though, I definitely recommend eating here!
We went out for a quick afternoon lunch date. Had an overall positive experience and the food was nice looking, quickly served, and tasted good. The prices are a little high for the quality/ quantity provided however, I was in no way unhappy with our meal. The server was a little inattentive and put her hands across our plates when refilling drinks or putting other plates down which is annoying and gross. She was however friendly and helpful enough. The interior is spacious and the seating is not cramped which is a huge plus. The menu is large and there are quite a few options for all food styles and tastes. The soft drinks are way over priced so be sure to get your refill to make it worth the cost. Overall the food was tasty and while I wouldn't drive out of my way to go back, I certainly wouldn't complain if we were out in the area and someone wanted to stop by here again to eat. I give 4 out of 5 stars and want to say that whoever gave this restaurant a 1 star review simply for not liking the taste of the chicken dish is an A hole. That is not this restaurants fault and they are definitely not deserving of a 1 star review. This place beats the heck out of your average asian take out food joint.
