Thank you Trip Advisor. We were in NC for a visit... looking for something we can't get back home... stumbled on this find.... and WOW... good luck. I was surprised it didn't have very many reviews. I had the ramen noodle soup... and it had a nice kick to it... really good flavor. My partner had some sorta Korean bar-b-que beef dish. I wasn't a big fan. It was like steak-ums in kind of that sweet bar-b-que sauce on a hot plate. Our meal came with a set of sides... 4 or 5 of them... and they were *very* good. I can't tell you what they were... fish cake strips? broccoli w/ cheese? Something jelly like w/ a soy ginger sauce? kimchi? just small little tastes.... but, a nice complement to the meal. We went late... just before close. And had the place to ourselves. Not much for ambience... but, comfortable.
From the time we walked into the door until we left I truly enjoyed our experience. This was my first time trying Korean cuisine so I was quite nervous. Come to find out I had nothing to be worried about. The food was wonderful and the service was great.I had relayed to the staff that I have a goal of traveling to South Korea for business within this year because I fell in love with the culture. I was met with kindness, openness, and encouragement to go for my goal. I had the best time speaking with staff during moments of free time. I will be returning because I couldn’t have imagined a better first experience.
Just had a fabulous meal at MinGa, not only was the food amazing, the restaurant was modern, clean and beautiful. The staff were so friendly helpful and fun. My sister and I had the time there. We will visit again soon.
Been years since I found Minga, and even after they moved, they are just getting better and better! Even their take out is amazing. Thanks for being such a great local spot!
Not the best Korean food spot near RTP, the soup is great but the bbq has a fishy smell. Little bit overpriced.
Generous staff working really hard over the holidays! Flavors were good, fried chicken was eaten instantly, prices are reasonable. Portions are filling but not excessive. I was very happy with my takeout. Thank you!!
The food was great and the waitress was very sweet. It's a bit pricey but worth it. We'll definitely be back.
Expansive Menu. I went with friends and we all found something that we liked. The serving sizes were huge and everything came with side dishes. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back!
We ordered the beef fried rice and kimchi fried rice and they were great. Will definitely be back.
Never try this restaurant. I don’t want to say it’s a restaurant, my home is a restaurant compared to this place. This place sucks. Food, price, service, everything is worst ever. It is my first time that I get so mad right after I experienced from this horrible place.
