The best ice cream.

Went with my child today to get an ice cream cone. We got a tiny ice cream cone—which I was told was a kids cone. I asked for two scoops and she didn’t even give me full scoops, she gave me one that was decent and one that was less than half. I asked her and she ignored me. She didn’t even put the ice cream on the cone properly because as soon as I handed it to my daughter the scoop fell off. I was not given another scoop after asking. I was cheerful and polite with her and she refused to talk and the only time she did was when she told me the total, which she whispered and wouldn’t repeat. My total came to almost $8 for a small little ice cream cone. $8!!! I go to Maple View Farm constantly and don’t mind paying that much for a local place especially because I’m getting a big waffle cone with big scoops of delicious ice cream and extremely kind people. I came here expecting the same and am so disappointed don’t recommend to anyone, go get 2 containers of ice cream from the store for that price.

Excellent service and very tasty ice cream.

GLASS SHARDS IN THEIR HALF GALLON GLASS CONTAINERS. NEVER CONTACTED ME ABOUT IT, EVEN AFTER I HAD THE STORE MANAGER CALL AND STILL NOTHING. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN, MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.

Really good ice cream, a little pricey but that's how it goes for something worthwhile and a real treat!

The kiosk is directly across from the children’s museum, meaning it’s frquented by families with CHILDREN. Carson, the teenager scooper, scooped a half frozen somewhat unsteady scoop of sorbet into a cone for my 3 year old. When I asked for a cup (just in case), I was told (with attitude) that I could buy one for $1.00. When I declined that, and half the scoop promptly fell out of my daughter’s cone, I went back to Carson to see if we could get a little more since half of the $5.00 ice cream cone had immediately fallen to the floor. I was told (with attitude) that I could buy another $5.00 ice cream cone, that it “wasn’t my rule,” and that “falling out of cones was what sorbet did.” Advice: save your money and the stress of watching your kid drop the badly packed overpriced ice cream. Buy a post-museum treat elsewhere.

When Im in NC I always stop here for some of the best locally made ice cream!

Good ice cream and great service! The worker today (I believe her name was carson) was very sweet and very kind! She was very helpful when I couldn't decide what to order. She gave me great advice and helped me pick out great ice cream!
