The atmosphere was great! The service was very attentive and our server was so friendly and answered all our questions about the menu. The food is a fusion style Asian and Latin mix. Unique and delicious!
Since I moved to Chapel Hill, Lucha Tigre has been my favorite restaurant. Their service and quality can’t be denied, but I am so upset that the Asian Glazed Chicken (my favorite dish) has been removed from the menu.
Dined here on a Saturday evening. Had a reservation and were seated right away. Nice ambience, mix of students and families. Servers were extremely friendly. Food was delicious. We shared vegetarian spring rolls, as well as chips and ginger guacamole. Two people got tacos; portions were large and very tasty. I had the poke bowl, which was a good size portion and fish was very fresh.
I have been coming to Lucha for years and the quality of the food and the service has been amazing. I've gotten to know the staff over the years and have nothing but love for the whole team. I celebrate my birthday annually here because the atmosphere is unmatched at Lucha. My favorite dishes are the pozole and spicy chicken & noodles. For apps you can't go wrong with the chicken quesadilla, chicken tostados, or the spring rolls.
I had a good time eating delicious food!! The staff is really what has me coming back, they were committed to great service and were really friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and i loved the way they decorated the food. Most importantly, the food and drinks taste amazing.
Since we're writing reviews about other reviews now - I would like to point out the "entitled girls" who were verbally harassed by the owner of this restaurant are kind, strong, independent, UNC alumni women who will not be bullied into taking down reviews of their traumatic experiences. If an owner of a restaurant called you a B**** for no reason other than fault of his own I'd hope you would stand up for yourself as well.Cheers to women supporting other women.
Lucha Tigre never lets me down. The food is incredible. It’s like taking your favorite dishes, but adding a pinch of uniqueness to it. A MUST TRY.Brunch is bomb. And at night their margaritas are insanely good.Great staff. Always going out of their way. Can’t go wrong with Lucha Tigre
I've been to Lucha many times over the years for brunch, lunch, and dinner. They are consistently amazing with great food and even better staff. They responsibly closed during COVID's shut down and only reopened the inside once all staff were vaccinated. And despite being low on staff like most restaurants since the pandemic, they still provide excellent customer service. I see a couple recent reviews from one group of entitled girls trying to hate on this place, but if you look these girls up, you'll learn a lot about their review style, their privilege, and their character overall. These girls being disappointed clearly has more to do with them than any place they've ever unfortunately visited, and Lucha is no exception. It's a great spot and a chapel hill favorite for a reason!
I love Lucha Tigre! Every time I’ve been the food has been phenomenal and the people working there have been so awesome and wonderful! Also one of the few really great places to get brunch left!!! Great bloody marys!
I have been going to Lucha Tigre for about 7 years now, I have never had a bad experience. Love the owner and the whole Lucha Family!! I recommend the Pan Fried Dumplings and the Tiger Mojito!
