It has been my favorite place in CH since the first time I went in 2017. Now been 40+ times (A number that would be bigger, if not for 'Rona) Great staff, cool setting, and creative and talented owner/head chef who is always making sure the food is fantastic. Walked in expecting "bar food". If it's bar food, it's the best bar food I've ever had by miles. Everything I've tried has been great. Then, he'll surprise you with specials. Even the damn crab cakes are magic, much less the Tues/Thur pot roast. Oh. Sweet. Lawd. You're the man, Chris!
This is a unique review, but it is about the bar's organization and spirit in handling the UNC vs. Dook Final Four game. Franklin Street is obviously getting slammed, and Linda's is handling it with grace and a sense of humor. I really appreciate that since many of the bars and restaurants on Franklin are only catering to their friends or are completely rude.My party (Shivraj) doesn't even have a reservation (yet, fingers crossed), but their calmness and kindness are refreshing. We need more places like this on Franklin.
Welp.... It was not good at all. Had the tarheel burger and it was just not good chili, not good slaw... cheeseburger was okay. The meat itself is excellent quality but it was over all not impressive and flavorless the fries were cold. We paid and tipped but it was a big let down for us.
My team at UNC loves the pot roast. Great spot with great food. Hint: the pot roast is still available even if it’s not on the menu.
Good food in a great atmosphere, plus live stand-up comedy every Thursday. I felt like I was in The Comedy Cellar in NYC. Check Linda's out on a Thursday comedy night, and thank me later.
Fantastic location for a private party downstairs. They did an awesome job with food and drink. Huge screen for watching a sporting event.
Really tasty hush puppies, and their Jerk chicken sandwich is good. Great atmosphere and wide selection of beer.Easily the worst pulled pork in NC.
I love Linda's. The Food here is awesome, and the drinks are amazing. Love the liquid Marijuana, it's so tasty. I always have a great time here. My only gripe is that the beer list could use an update. I'm not usually getting beers here, but when I do, it'd be nice to have some more local options.
Linda's has a wonderful atmosphere and the onwer and staff are wonderful people. The food is delicious as are the brews on tap.
Stopped in just for a post game beer. Great place. Cozy, lots of beer options and TVs all over the place. Food menu looked great. Bar food with class. Will try very soon.
