This place is my new favorite Mexican spot (I love Mexican food, so I’ve tried almost all of them in the area). From the tasty chips and salsa (I generally do not eat salsa, but I did here), to the sweet tea with pineapple juice (which I wanted to bottle and take home), to the huge burrito (which I did take some home), it was all amazingly packed with flavor and spice without being too spicy. Give this place a try, if you like Mexican food.

The food was good. We have had Kahlovera from the food truck on Miami blvd, so I knew the food was going to be good. We noticed that there were five dollar house margaritas. We asked if we could do flavors on those house margaritas and we were told we could. We got a total of 5 margaritas thinking they were $5. They weren’t five dollars: they were $13. We brought up the issue to our server and she said it was because we got flavors. We should have been told that they weren’t five dollars because they were flavored. We could’ve gotten something else if that was the case. Server told us it was her bad and it was only her second day but did nothing about the $13 margaritas. In the menu, it said house margaritas were originally 9.99 and flavoring was an extra two dollars. Doesn’t justify why it was 12.99 rather than 11.99. Ended up spending over $200 on four people. It was not worth $200. We should have asked to speak to a manager but honestly we were so upset we left. We will never be returning.

Ambience is Ok.Food is OK.The Fave Burrito is nothing to rave about, its like ACP in a wet blanket.Shrimp Fajita in the menu picture looks loaded but once you get it, looks disappointing since there's like 5 ? on it only.If you are going for the Birria tacos, pls be ware that its only on SUNDAYS.

The service here is absolutely abysmal. After sitting down it takes 10 min for a server to come and ask for drinks, then another 5 for another server to ask for drinks. I ordered a water and my partner ordered a cocktail. I watched the server pull up a recipe on his phone and try to figure out how to make it. Another 10-15 min goes by and the second waiter comes and asks us to order another drink because they don't know how to make the first one. We were able to squeeze in our food order before the waiter ran away. 30-40 min goes by, cold tacos come out and my burrito is nowhere to be found. I figure it'll be out shortly after but I was mistaken. After another bit of time I ask the staff if I can just get my burrito to go. Waitress comes back and says the kitchen didn't even make it and asked if I would like it made now, obvious no. Paid $40 to not even eat dinner. I usually never write reviews but the way the wait staff didn't take anything serious and didn't even make attempts to check on what was going on to the small amount of patrons in the restaurant just made me fume. Would definitely not recommend anyone to eat here unless you want to be disappointed. To the owner: I suggest changing the format of the restaurant to counter serve only. It's already set up that way, so it'll be easier on the staff/kitchen to accommodate customers. The wait staff obviously have no clue what's going on so take away the expectations of a sit down restaurant and have people order at the counter, take a number and sit down at a table to have their food and drink brought out. It'll keep everyone happy.

This restaurant is a really nice chill spot. The waiter was very nice. We received our food quickly. The music was good. I was in town for business, so a few of us hung out here after a meeting. Going there was a fun experience. I gave it 4 stars because the tables and the building itself felt small. We put a couple tables together. But I'm usually doing that at other restaurants. If building feels too small they have areas outside where you can sit.

The best Sunday morning starts here, 6 months ago we tried their Sunday special for the first time, ever since we’re hooked up, every week.Thank you guys, great hospitality and dang delicious food

This place has become the Sunday staple in our lives. The birria tacos with consomme are out of this world. Do not miss out. You won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoy Kahlovera Street Tacos. I have been there a few times now and the staff is constantly welcoming and efficient. The food is very good certainly worth returning for and I have driven out of my way to go there.I am a fan of mahi tacos. There California taco is very good. The fish is fried. I’d love to see a grilled mahi taco added to the menu.

We were craving tacos, but wanted to try a new place other than our usual haunts. Came across Kahlovera Street Tacos in a Yelp! search and the number of choices is fantastic. They have the usual tacos with some less common choices as well as less common choices including huaraches and tortas. All of the filling choices for the tacos were delicious. Also ordered a huarache and it was HUGE! This is a meal on its own so do not order any other food if you get a huarache! Ordering online was easy and pick up was a cinch. Will definitely be back to have more delicious food!

Good burrito But it was a little wet. Chips and salsa were great. Fast service and would definitely go again.
