I had no idea they mixed it all by hand as you order. Great tasting ice cream, and a good price, too. And the night staff is WAY friendlier than the store down the street named after 2 guys from Vermont.

Incredibly rude staff who barely mixed in the toppings and yet somehow the ice cream ended up like soup in the cup. So bad, couldn’t even eat it. Find a different cold stone if you have the craving.

very nice service and cake looks so cute!! also tastes fantastic

Small space in Chapel Hill with 15 people seated closely eating ice cream (obviously masks down) Employee yelled we needed masks which are not required in Charleston where we are from. They did not have any masks to provide customers. We had 5 people ready to try cold stone but left and went down to another dessert place and enjoyed a delicious treat. Will never return to any cold stone.

Graciously gifted a gift card for a philanthropy event. Great staff and was very easy to get in contact with them.

No kiddie sized ice cone, only for adults, so a little bit of too much and too sweet.

Definitely one of our favorite places to grab ice cream treats. Perfect location for when we eat on Franklin and then stroll over to Coldstone. I do try to go during less busy times so I don’t have to stand in line ?

Great place and nice people.....I just really wish there was a glove policy when doing the prep...

So my experience tonight was the picture of customer service excellence.Let me preface this with the fact that I, alongside two random passerbys, was the ahole customer that walks in 10 minutes before close.I entered behind the two passerbys and watch the conversing employees end their talk and get into work mode. Their promptness was wasted, though, as the two ghouls that shambled off the street ahead of me acted as though they were going to wait until closing time to order. If this bothered the cold stone employees, I could not tell. As a matter of fact, I felt that I was more visibly bothered by the duo's languor than either of the three associates. Two of the associates set to task indefinitely once the gents could figure out their order, all the while the third associate cleaned until it was my turn to order. She was a pleasure to work with; it was service with... well, the sound of a smile, as they still have to wear masks on the job.Nevertheless, they wished us all a good night and I regret not asking for their names so I could commend them all individually here.I have only had positive experiences here recently and I believe this spot will be hard pressed to replace these three when they're gone.

You don't want to know.... Just get your ice cream... Ignorance is bliss and I don't feel like dealing with Karen again.
