Received wrong order and no one was willing to fix it
This review is relative to other chipotle restaurants. We went at early/normal dinner time and there wasn't a wait but the place was trashed (looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days) and the employees seemed like they were put out by asking for food. Durham, and the other chapel hill location seem fine so might be just a problem here but I'll avoid next time if possible.
I had not been to Chipotle in a long time and wanted to try the new plant-based chorizo, so I headed to this Chipotle near the UNC campus. Unfortunately, the staff told me that the plant-based chorizo was "seasonal," so they did not have it. I ended up ordering a vegetarian bowl, which was tasty. I sat outside as the weather was nice (outside seating faces busy West Franklin Street). Employees were friendly, prices are average. I was lucky, it can be tough to find a place to park here but I found one of the (very) few spots in the lot right next to the restaurant.
I like that Chipotle can offer a healthier fast food option but am usually disappointed at the quality of the food and time it takes to be served. Not the case at this restaurant at all. Was served very quickly with good portions that were hot and tasted good (the lady who served me had pink hair and she was great, idk her name).
Giving A Huge Shoutout To The Cashier Alexis She Is Absolutely The Best Very Kind Best Customer Service She Made My Visit Worth It‼️ It’s One Lady (African American Low Kiddie Voice) Cashier In The Morning Time Very Rude I Don’t See How They Still Have Her Working There ‼️ She Seems So Unhappy And Take It Out On The Customer‼️ So Happy Alexis Was At The Register They Need More Workers Like Alexis I Understand It’s Very Busy But You Are At A Paying Job ‼️
Ordered take out online. food was still not ready after an hour and when I got it it was cold. And also their ice machine was not working.
They forgot to put kids meals in a take out order. The refund was exact same amount I paid for kids meals. No apology , no extra points, nothing for my ruined family dinner. Chipotle you can do better.
Very clean and staff was nice. I did get here right after they opened but the restaurant was very clean.
Terrible quality of service- burrito was also poorly wrapped and immediately fell apart in the foil and employee did nothing and continued to wrap it. Service here is always super low quality- workers here don’t care. Once had an employee wearing headphones while serving (which usually is fine) but proceeded to not hear the customers and gave incorrect ingredients.
Would not recommend picking food up here during lunch and dinner times. Placed an order on the app with projected time and waited 40 minutes and left without our order! The Chapel Hill Chipotle is especially busy, will not be going to this one anytime soon.
