I came a few months back and service was okay. Decided to try it again and seems they're under new management now because it was outstanding this time. Shane goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. Love the asthetic of the place. Highly recommend trying it out!
I’ve never had Indian food so my girlfriend and I decided to step inside to give it a try. I was stunned by the cleanliness and it just gives such a romantic, fancy aesthetic. The hostess was so nice and helped me choose the chicken tandoori from the menu. The food was amazing, the vibes were amazing and the price is fair for such a good meal. If you’ve never had Indian food I would definitely give the Chimney a try!
My experience here was truly remarkable. Pravin was my host and he was absolutely amazing. He made me a delicious drink that had an aroma I won't forget and the food was just like being back overseas. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for your hospitality. I was in Chapel Hill for a meeting and decided to grab lunch before heading out of town. I wasn’t really looking for any specific type of restaurant. I parked and this restaurant caught my eye.I absolutely love Indian food and I’m so glad I found this place.The lunch menu has 2 options and there was also a traditional menu. I opted for the vegetarian lunch menu and a mango lassi. Everything I tasted was absolutely incredible.The ambiance was super chill, very upscale and inviting. Outrageously fun cocktails... highly creative. The food was very good. Kids ordered samosas and some rice dishes with chicken although from my observations, I didn't see much chicken at all.I ordered curry shrimp and it was a tad on the bland side with what seemed like 3 lumps of shrimp. However, the service was excellent... the mixologist server used to work at a 5-star resort in Mumbai so he was great. Contemporary atmosphere near UNC Chapel Hill. Overall, had a great time and it's worth the experience. Maybe an off day with the curry. Still will go back again.
Great place for date night. My wife and I loved their food and drinks. The service was good and the staff was friendly. They do not have too many options but whatever is on their menu is tasty and flavourful. The dinning experience is always better when the server knows everything about the dishes. Our server even suggested the not-so-sweet Moscow mule cocktail for me to go with the spicy food. . pravin is amazing an attentive and the cocktails are also spot on. This is not a place to be missed.we will be back soon?
The restaurant is amazing with typical and delicious North Indian food the drinks are so amazing and balanced with food the bartender Pravin advise me to pair the drink with food which goes very well .. will return to this place again
Delicious, we enjoyed it! keep up the good work.My 2 cents to the web admin: please make a photo session to display all dishes on your website, for instance, entrees are all blank. And it is also misleading to see something on your site then receive something else, a surprise happened with our appetizer today, "Spicy Rashmi Kabab" (we liked this though!). Just compare them.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced. They have a wonderful lunch special! Staff went above and beyond to make me happy, I will definitely be going back there!
