We were very impressed by the home cooking feel of everything we ordered. It wasn't your typical fast casual Mexican restaurant. The menu offers regionally unique cuisine in addition to some typical favorites and the value was great. This first order was delivery, and having enjoyed the food so much we're already looking forward to dining in sometume soon.
I’ve eaten here twice now, once through Takeout Central and once in person. My food was excellent both times and reasonably authentic given how difficult it is to source a lot of the ingredients they use. The menu is pan-Latin American, so their offerings are a little different than what you would see on the menu at a typical Mexican restaurant. I wish it had occurred to me to photograph what I ate. Everything was fantastic, especially the plantains!
I gave it a one star because the pupusas weren't too bad. This is my second time visiting this place, the first time I had a great time, so I invited few friends to check this place out hoping for the same awesome experience, unfortunately it was such a disappointment. The waitress was so rude. My friend asked what type of fruit water they had available and with a DISGUSTED attitude she responded " they gave you a menu for a reason, they have the water listed" I told her to excuse us for asking, it's just that sometimes restaurant tend to run out of certain type, and when my friend decided to order a horchata, she informed us that they had ran out. ( my point made). My son asked for a plate of maduros, she informed us, she doesn't think they had Maduros left, I told her that if they have it that I would want an order of scrambled eggs but if they didn't have Maduros to just give him plain wings with fries. She never came to give refilled we had to go out of our way to get her attention, so I was never informed if the Maduros were available. When the food came out she tried to give my son scramble eggs with the wing order and when i told her what I had said while ordering which was the eggs was a side dish for the Maduros she said that I had to pay for it because they cooked it. I wouldn't had mind eating it but her attitude was disturbing. My table weren't the only one complaining about her service. My boyfriend order a 7 mares soup (SEAFOOD) which DOES NOT bring menudo( menudo is a cow's stomach) but it was to his surprise when he scooped pieces of Menudo on his seafood soup. Hopefully they start training their servers on how to provide great customer service.
Awesome! Don't let the average review here being just 4 stars concern you. If you look through, you'll see the 1 stars are mostly people who didn't like their handling of takeout orders, or who think they let too many people in the restaurant during Covid. Or, you can just take my word for it!Most of the menu is authentic Mexican. Great collection of soups and stews; meat options include lengua (tongue) and tripe. First drink option listed is a michelada. Outstanding! And, sadly, the only good Mexican I've had since moving here from California (having tried too many).Actually thought I was getting Tex-Mex when coming here. Has that feel from the outside (and inside), and that's fine too. And if that's what you want, it's great too. They pile on the chips and salsa as soon as you arrive. Pretty sure they had a bunch of different margarita options, though I didn't look closely. My son got a quesadilla with grilled chicken that was the size of a pizza - and absolutely delicious.Signs for the restaurant say it's Latin American, and the menu has a couple of pages of stuff from other LatAm cuisines. Didn't try those on this visit, but strongly suspect they're authentic and reflect at least part of the team's background (would be easier and more typical to just do Mexican).Great atmosphere and service, very reasonably priced, amazing food, large portions. Really a winner. We'll be back...
What a wonderful place. Beautiful dining area, wonderful food, and amazing service. Gracias Miguel! You are a top notch server!
I came in with my husband who was just back out from millitary serve. We really wanted to make this a good night but they ended up making us upset. Firstly, the waitress was taking forever and they were not busy. At the end of our service our ticket was only $65.00 and I noticed they added a gratituity of 20% on there (for two people). The problem is not giving out the tip, the problem really was how they went and added such a high gratituity but yet did not provide us with great service.I will never be back. Manager did not care, she ended up fixing my tab but did not express caring for customer service. Food not good
Very slow and food not cooked well. Poor Management

Tried for first time today. Terrible taco salad. Did not eat rice, beans or meat. Meat tasted like Alpo dog food. Complained to wait staff with zero response.
I've ordered food from Casa Maria twice. The first time I ordered online about half an hour before closing. When I arrived five minutes before closing they had not prepared the food and it was clear the kitchen was closed. After waiting about 10 minutes they ended up giving me a bowl of guacamole with three whole radishes in it (though they did reopen the kitchen and make the tacos I'd ordered).I ordered again (because anyone can make a mistake). I ordered online and when I went to pick up the food ended up standing at the hostess station for ten minutes. When I finally flagged down a server they looked on the computer and then started putting my order in. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for the food. The food itself is fine (not great but not bad), but there system seems to be that if you order online they'll actually place the order when you arrive -- defeating the purpose. Again, the foods not bad, but it's not worth the hassle.
