Great food and drinks. Owners are awesome. I highly recommend this seafood restaurant.
Ok, I've been going here for years, both in-house and takeout. I've finally had enough of this pathetic place. I just paid $18 for an oyster platter takeout...first it was 10 minutes later than they stated on the phone...I get that, sometimes things take longer than expected. Got home, we got 8 tiny oysters! I called to complain, first got told would I like to speak to the manager, I said yes...first person came back and said there was "nothing they could do" and that "oysters were out of season." Ok, I get that, but then put MORE in the plate? Absolutely ridiculous and rude to boot!!!!! Never again!
Food is good and nice atmosphere. Great place to come with a friend or family.
My family frequented this neighborhood eatery for years before Covid. It was a good option for reasonably priced good seafood. Tonight I looked at online menus—turns out only one has updated pricing. I ordered 2 dinners takeout—both fried with specific instructions for LIGHTLY fried. Both orders were way over fried, only 1 coleslaw was included, baked potatoes were dry, overcooked. It’s my last time there—takeout or dine-in. I’ll drive a little further to Squid’s where I have never had a disappointing experience!
Very very UNPROFESSIONAL. The people there has NO knowledge of their menu. Called to place an order for a salmon salad, 3 sides of vegetables. And 2 shrimp dinners. We weren't told they did not have salmon nor vegetables until we went and picked it up. No type of apologies or compensation given. Just horrible service and UNPROFESSIONAL. The shrimp dinners looked as if they were just thrown in the to go box and the potatoes looked old and sad. The outside of the restaurant looks disgusting. The lettering is off, and it looks like an abandoned shack. Inside is not that great either. Save your money and go elsewhere, where you get more BANG FOR YOU BUCK. And GOOD TASTING SEAFOOD. This rundown, shack, hole in the wall place with, workers with NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE MENU, is NOT WHERE IT IS AT.

Great food. Captain John's has been doing it great for many years. Try the Captain's Platter for a ton of good food or the Blackened Samon salad. Two of my favorits!
Been there many times. Food is fair, but nothing extraordinary. The service is not always good, understaffed at times. The server has to also be bartender and mixes drinks which are not very good. I have had to send drinks back because they lack proper ingredients. Won’t be going back there. Too many other better options.
Food was not hot and looked like person from the worst cook made it. I will not go back again I would rather purchase snacks from gas station
