Current business practices are not customer friendly. This type of pizza is meant to be enjoyed immediately but they still haven't opened dining room, have a cc fee, only open 4 hours if at all and always asking for a tip for staff that they've yet to rehire. It's propped up by the neighborhood behind this strip. The table at the door doesn't work as a greeting station, people standing around and staring inside. Not hard to spend $20 on a 10 inch pizza. I rarely go here anymore. I'm sure this business model yields higher profit for the minimal staff but is severely detrimental to the customer experience and enjoyment of the boxed pizza sitting just on the other side of that door.
Carbonara is an absolute joke..bordering on offensive! Haha. Capps should be embarrassed for charging $17 for a tiny portion of seemingly cheap, store bought noodles..covered in literally straight melted butter..with a small sprinkle of bacon. I've had better pasta from cheap pizza delivery chains..no exaggeration. Oh and Capps...your make shift pick up tent was understandable even a few months ago..but it's time to step up or close ...an hour and 15 minutes for a pickup order..you're a pizza joint dudes ..haha
Pizza is delicious ..however the pasta specials is where it is at..John was not messing around when he made the Swiss Chard Angnolot ..Fire...absolutely delicious..so lucky to have Capps around the corner!
This place is really delicious, but very difficult to order from. Their dining room is still not open after COVID, which is surprising given most other restaurants have opened back up. Also getting takeout can be difficult - sometimes they don't seem to be accepting orders even when within posted business hours.Tried ordering tonight, and the pizza sections of their online ordering website are greyed out for some reason, and no one is answering their phone. (Also their voicemail message still references being closed in January due to snow.)Love this place and love the location, just wish they could operate in a more expected way so it was easier to know when they're open and when they're not.
They make an excellent vegan cheese pizza which is awesome for the parent, rather its life changing, for the parent of a child with a dairy allergy! Pastas are all great, they nail shrimp! So good.
Best bread in the area! The Italian food & pizza are great as well.
Capp's has the best Italian food I have had since I moved here. They're pizza is better than Roberta's in Brooklyn which was rated #3 in the country. Capp's has the same ovens. Everything is made from scratch including the pasta, bread, sausage, everything. If you like spicy, the Arrabiata isgreat, as well as the Chicken Picatta. We order a pizza and eat it before we get home!
I drive 30 minutes both sides for their amazing pizzas ? ? I wish if they open a branch in Morrisville or Cary.
From a Jersey guy, great pizza (best I've had outside of NJ and NYC) and apps. Just plan ahead...not unusual to have an hour plus wait for pickup on a Friday...
Always delicious, no matter whether pizza, entrees, or dessert!
