Quality guac and attentive dinner service. More people need to check it out, not crowded on a friday despite the food and drinks being great. Fun atmosphere.
awful food and experience ordering here. i tried the fish (13.99) and was given a lukewarm fish filet that was indistinguishable in taste & texture from that cheap brand gordon's. but, if i'd had gordon's, i'd have heated it up myself and actually had a hot meal. the fries that came with it were soggy and unseasoned as well, and they provided no napkins/forks, almost like they were so surprised to have found someone dumb enough to patronise this place that they forgot the basic things. total waste of money and time, and i'd give 0 stars if i could. when this place goes out of business, my only hope is it's replaced with something that serves edible food.
Delicious food. We tried the chicken empanadas, tostones, and carne asada and we really enjoyed all of those. The mojito and piña colada were very good too. There’s a large outdoor area so we ate outside. Staff was very friendly.
We loved it! Delicious food, great outdoor spot, and perfect music. We will definitely be coming again.
Tried this place a couple of times and had the same experience consistently. Food was decent, but way too expensive to be worth the price. Service was slow and staff were just messing around and talking most of the time. Also very odd that they convert into a night club in the evenings. Dinner service ends and music is extremely loud, meaning it’s not really a place I can go after classes, a long study session, or an evening out.
Food was tasty and good portion. The "tostones" to die for. I asked for Mojito and it had to be fixed about 3 times before tasting the rum. Management was very receptive and responsive about fixing the cocktail. Great atmosphere. I do suggest the waiter be little more pending and check the table more often. Once service is improved, no doubt will be very succesful spot.
the best food you can eat
New family run place on Rosemary where Country Fried Duck used to be with great drinks and empanadas. Anywhere that makes fried street food and margaritas without mix will get my business. The madness of the UNC v Duke game downtown highlighted some growth areas where systems are needed to scale up for busy nights, but those will come with time. I'm excited to go back for more drinks and try some of the main dishes.
Locally run restaurant and bar with lots of potential! I only got to try some appetizers (not played) so can’t fully speak to the food. Beef empanadas were pretty good and they make a great mojito! They’re tvs are not in sync so be aware of that if you’re going to watch a game. Seems like it would be a fun place for a night out. Big outdoor patio!
I wish I could give zero stars. They were completely unprepared and understaffed. Every staff member was extremely rude. You had to stand by the bar and continue to follow up with bar tenders for your order just to get the food you paid for. Waited 30+ mins for mojitos and well over an hour for food (appetizers!).
