Food is good and decent sized portions, but the cost is much higher than neighboring establishments. They usually have a good variety of items and are willing to customize orders. Bakery items are good as well.

We had a great experience as a family of three grabbing a meal. One of the shortest wait times to have food delivered to our table. Food was absolutely fantastic not to mention the maple latte! They also had gluten free options as well which is nice to seeMy husband would give this place 4 stars only because they put adoptable kittens on the table which we cannot adopt.
Good food. It was very busy on a Saturday morning and food took a while to be prepared but it was worth the wait. Found an open table easily. Looked like most people were getting their food to go.
Food is excellent. Consistent. The staff is great and pleasant to talk to. Have never had a bad meal here. Plus Marco makes some of the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had in my life.
Loved the atmosphere and coffee - especially the delicious, strong coffee!!!! ? The only things that could have been better were that the brownies were pretty stale (I bought 2 - one to share), and both were "crusty" on the outside. And, the server carried my coffee mug by the rim, putting her fingers right where a customer is to put their mouth - yuck! Dangerous to do so these days. :'( But we loved everything else!
Trying to be more proactive in reviewing businesses I LOVE, and this is one of them…consistent, delicious and always fresh. I love the staff and the atmosphere as well!
It's always a great place. Employees and customers have been friendly. Coffee is pretty good and while I've never had a meal there, they look amazing. We always stop there mid 40 mile bike ride and look forward to it every time. The cookies are really good
This independently owned cafe ticks all the right boxes! Great indoor and outdoor seating areas, creative, well prepared menu items, casual competent staff. One of my great joys is visiting local businesses like the Breakaway, that strive to create a happy work environment and contribute to the community.
I’m an avid cyclist so I like visiting just for the name, haha. Usually get breakfast here. The eggs Benedict is delicious, and the espresso drinks are great (I like a flat white, I don’t need the latte art ;)
Amazing! The best, most intimate, cozy, hygge place on this side of town. Just had the most amazing Pumpkin latte with real pumpkin puree and handcrafted syrup!!!! ????
