Workers at this establishment are rude and racist I walked in and stood at the counter for a good five minutes. No greeting, but they did see me standing there. When another woman walked in after me an employee didn’t hesitate to welcome her. Refused to give me an order that I was delivering because I was early. So because I’m just a DoorDash worker, picking up an smoothie for someone else….I don’t deserve acknowledgment. Ridiculous.
Out of all of the Tropical Smoothie locations that I have patronized, this one is the worst. The employees do not greet you, it almost feels as if you are a bother. I waited over 20 minutes for my smoothie. I also ordered a chicken wrap and received it over 40 minutes after placing my order. They were placing smoothies and food on the counter without calling out names. There were several frustrated customers during my visit. I will drive the extra few miles to go to the next one because they are friendly and efficient:

Just pick up your drinks and go. Don’t expect any eye contact or smile from service staff here or you will be disappointed ?
If you think you’ll order a smoothie for breakfast via pick up and have it on time, you are wrong. Slow service better off finding a smoothie king.
Employees have horrible attitudes don’t even acknowledge or speak to you when you come in. Food is consistently cold and smoothies are watery. You could walk in at 8:30am and get the rudest vibe. If you ask for smoothie or food to be remade the attitude gets worse. Definitely would go to smoothie king down the street
Please hire people who know what they are doing. More than half look like they are still in High School. I’ve been coming here for a year and it just keeps getting worse. Longer waits, clueless employees & rude attitudes. Everyone looks like they hate working here.
I don't usually do reviews, but the new employees here are poorly trained. Waited 40 minutes to find out they didn't have the ingredients to make the order, so they never bother to tell me.Tons of orders waiting on the counter, none being called out. Even when they finally remade my order, they still got it wrong.Maybe it's all these people's 1st day but there was no manager to train them.
Walked in as the only customer and wasn't verbally acknowledged for about one full minute although looked at by staff. Placed an order and as I waited other customers came in and placed a new order (not an online order) and mine (same type order) was completed after theirs. Don't plan on returning but smoothie was good.
I love tropical smoothie, but whenever i go to this location im always disappointed and disgusted. When I went to the location about a month ago my smoothie wasn’t blended at all, and my cheese on my quesadilla wasn’t melted. But I gave it a second try, and it was still absolutely horrible. I literally get Jetty Punch (strawberry banana) Smoothie, and it taste like im drinking water, no flavor, and i have to chew my smoothie because i get chunks of strawberries in my mouth. And I went today, and my boyfriends smoothie and mine tasted absolutely disgusting and chunky. I asked them to redo it and it tasted the exact same way! And the employees look like they don’t even wanna be there, and it honestly shows in the smoothies and food. If you want good tropical don’t come to this location!!!! If you want a good smoothie from a tropical chain, go to the one in Holly Springs:) Never going back to this Cary tropical!!!!!
