We experienced our most disappointing takeout meal at this Tijuana Flats in Cary on Saturday. The steak chimichanga we ordered was so dry and tasteless, it was just like eating cardboard. The sauce bar could not cover up for the lack of meat and other ingredients. We never even received our rice and beans with our order. We also ordered a cheese quesadilla and the cheese wasn't melted. The service was just as disappointing as the food. We enjoy Tijuana Flats but we will definitely not be returning to this one. Very disappointing experience.

We have been going to this Tijuana Flats ever since it opened and have never had a bad meal, just the opposite, always very good and the staff is very friendly. We even get hugs and that says a lot in how the appreciate our business. They also support our Cary American Legion Post 67, a nonprofit veterans organization. We appreciate their support and their food. Love the sauces, especially the hotter ones. Taco Tuesday and Burrito Thursdays is a great time to try out their meals. Don't for get to join their rewards plan for free meals.

The service was friendly and great! The hot sauce bar is a nice touch and the few I tried were delicious! The tacos were good, but not street style or authentic so if that’s what you’re expecting this isn’t the place, but the steak tacos I got were still tasty!

We ordered Chicken Bowl and Garlic Lime Shrimp Bowl. We couldn't find chicken nor tasted chicken in our chicken bowl. When we asked the person who took our order, she said it was shredded chicken. We tried to look for them in our bowl, we found a few tiny pieces. The manager came out and asked whether we wanted more chicken. It was a little too late. We lost our appetite. We left more than half of the bowl. On the other hand, our shrimp bowl were full of very salty shrimps. The rest of the bowl were okay. The sauces, available at the bar were interesting, and they were good with chips.A warning, the bathrooms were not that clean.

Solid tex mex that isn't too greasy and has great vegetarian options. Hot sauce selection is fantastic! Service is always great

The food was really good, the service was excellent and we judged the margerita to be the best out of five other places we'd been to recently. Definitely going back!

Honestly, I liked how they had a variety of sauces you can try with the taco/burrito but the food was basically like a slightly better version of taco bell and not very filling either. But if you like taco bell it might be worth a try. I had the smokin chipotle chimichanga with water, which came out to be $11.50. Wasn't worth it for me. The staff, however, was very polite and nice.

Food was tasty and the atmosphere is fun. Customer service was good.

First (and last) time there. Staff were nice but food was terrible. Ordered tacos and a burrito, neither were toasted/warm, first time I ever ate a burrito cold, tasted like it came out of the fridge.

Deception after stayed few years without eating it .Forget my queso .the only flavor that didn't change is the flautas dessert still good
