Clean, beautiful decor, outstanding staff. Wonderful, location. Our rooms were very clean, look updated, and very spacious. Tons of charm and food at hotel restaurant was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay for a quick weekend getaway! We booked here for our 20th anniversary. This hotel met all of our needs from arrival to stay as well as departure! We will definitely be returning soon! The breakfast was outstanding!! We will be sure to try dinner at the next stay!

Clean, comfortable, well appointed rooms, friendly staff, perfect location in the town. Wonderful on site bar and restaurant, hotel provides bikes on which to explore the charming town of Cary. Lovely artwork along hall ways.

My family and I just spent six nights at The Mayton. The hotel, the room, the staff, the restaurant and the location are perfect. Cary is a beautiful town and the hotel is walking distance to some great restaurants and shops. It was a perfect getaway.

I was on a business trip flying from one coast to the other, which is an all-day affair. I stayed at The Mayton for two nights. Not only did I love my uniquely designed and presented suite (I want this same room again when I return), but I loved the overall property aesthetic. It was fresh, full of personality, and fit the character of Cary. But the thing I want to rave about is the incredible customer service I received from every Mayton team member from the bell hop to the bartender to housekeeper and room service. Every single person brought their A+ game and made my stay an absolute pleasure. Seldom do I experience this kind of customer service anymore. Sadly, it's a dying breed and any company that delivers it will outpace their competition it is so rare. Thank you to all the staff who made me feel right at home and like I was a valued, return customer.

We had two adjoining suites. Rooms were fine- very clean. Bedrooms are spacious. This is a boutique hotel so services are minimal. I gave them my debit card as they said they needed something on file… at one point they charged me per day and then an overall hold - this was about $12 being held on my debit card which was about 4x more than the total for the stay. We received a few explanations but there was nothing resolved. We still have about $6k held off our money. (Just don’t use a debit card!)

Very nice atmosphere, reminiscent of a bed n breakfast. Very quiet, wide halls. Even at near capacity you see very few people in passing.A very unexpectedly pleasant experience.

We came here for my girlfriends birthday and the Mayton was such a wonderful Gem with excellent staff, beautiful rooms and amazing food. I highly recommend this wonderful stay. The entire atmosphere pulls you out of the daily grind and let’s you know you are in rest & relax mode. Can’t wait to come back .

The Mayton is a lovely boutique hotel in a nice part of town. The food in the restaurant is excellent, with good variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, I lowered the rating due to not having a grab bar in the shower/bath. Very unsafe, especially with their slippery floor.

Decent hotel, though not what I was expecting. Online, this place exudes a boutique hotel vibe. In person, it felt like we were at any given chain hotel. Our room had noticeable dust on the walls, which was random. One of the towel hooks in the bathroom was also broken. The room has a "noise masking" (white noise) feature, but the loudest setting was still surprisingly quiet. We were disappointed by this, as the noise from the restaurant down below was considerable during the evening. There are hardwoods throughout the place, which makes it a little noisier than other hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast at the restaurant was good, though pricey. Parking is a trick, though you likely know that going into it (parking in downtown Cary isn't great in general). Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend this hotel to my friends or family. It's not a horrible place by any stretch, just not great.
