We had our Alice in Wonderland themed wedding 2/4/22. Everyone was so helpful throughout the process and the venue was absolutely perfect. Everything felt like a fairytale once you walked on the property. They have ample parking, they have the best coordination with vendors. The day of the wedding they handled everything with my caterers, decor, cake and my wedding party. The Matthews house in Cary really is an all in one venue that I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to hold their own Wedding. Thank you for the memories!
We had our wedding here on 4/16/22 and it was PERFECT. So much better than we ever could have imagined. Sarah was incredibly responsive and helpful in the lead up to the wedding and put us in contact with the caterers for everything we needed. Heather worked as our coordinator and was a GENIUS. She was excellent at everything, made sure our day ran smoothly, and made it so stress-free for us as the couple. I knew we didn't have a thing to worry about with Heather at the wheel. I seriously cannot recommend The Matthews House enough for your big day!
A beautiful venue with a large hall in one building and multiple rooms on the first and second floors. Beautifully landscaped with plenty of space to socialize outside. Very helpful hostess Sarah.
Just had our wedding here (12/12/21) and it turned out better than perfect!! Sarah helped so much getting us in touch with caterers, organizing decor, seating, just about everything! On the day of, she assisted with our wedding party, ceremony and everything alike. The venue was the perfect pricing and setting for the dream wedding we were wanting!! If you are in search for a stunning venue, amazing owners, and great value, look no further!! I can’t recommend this place enough, thank you!!!

Oh my goodness. SO fantastic!! The venue was beautiful in the first place and Sarah and Jannette made it really shine with all the decorations I brought and all the decorations they have as well. My experience was phenomenal, and Sarah was so flexible with the Covid situation. I couldn’t have asked for a better day!Oh I also wanted to add: SO many positives for having your wedding here. A getting ready room for the girls, and a separate one for the boys. A beautiful room available for the couple to stay in the night of the wedding. A coordinator assigned to you. Just literally everything was fantastic.
My husband and I got married at the Matthews House in early October 2021. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. There is plenty of room for the bridal party to get ready before the ceremony, with there being two separate suites for the bride and groom, plus a room for hair and makeup to setup. The garden where the ceremony was held was beautiful. The ballroom was setup perfectly and was such a great space for the reception. Sarah Chung was so responsive and helpful throughout our wedding planning process. She is amazing! I would recommend this venue to anyone.
Absolutely beautiful venue we used for our wedding. Sarah and Janette were helpful with planning, we couldn’t have done it without them. Any question or issue we had, they answered or took care of it right away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for any event!!
My daughter had her wedding and reception at The Matthews House in October of 2021. The venue was perfect. The house has wonderful spaces upstairs for the bride and the bridesmaids to get ready and relax before the ceremony. The groom and groomsmen have a room downstairs to get ready in. There is a beautiful garden for an outdoor ceremony. The ballroom is good size for the reception and has a good flow. There is also an outdoor patio area for guests to socialize. Sarah, the owner, is amazing. She was very available during the planning process. She has an eye for detail and makes sure everything is exactly how you envisioned it. She makes everyone feel welcome and ensures everyone has what they need. This is truly a beautiful and charming venue that I would highly recommend to anyone.
First visit. Quaint locale. Fantastic venue! Flexible space for outdoor to indoor events as needed. Beautiful decor and Delicious Lip Smackin' Good Food! Yum!
