Literally the worst takeout I’ve ever gotten. The tuna tasted like it was straight from the bloodline, and it definitely wasn’t cold, but I was like well, I guess it is takeout, it wont be ice cold. I regret taking a few more bites trying to convince myself it wasn’t horrible since me and my mom just spent $50 on takeout. We ended up both vomiting for hours after. Highly recommend you do NOT buy sushi here.
Sushi little tokyo is led by an amazing woman named Lee (her name may be spelled another way). The sushi is absolutely delicious. The tempura is always crunchy, light and flavorful. The spicy tokyo dinner is really tasty. They always take care of me and my girlfriend! Food is always fresh at the time you receive it, even if you order 5 entrees for pickup. The miso soup is flavorful. I could go on, but the point is: GO THERE AND TRY IT. IT'S WHAT YOUR STOMACH HAS BEEN NEEDING
One of my favorite places I had frequently at least once a month. I typically had the Bulgogi Udon, but the sushi and gyoza were always a great addition. If you can, dine-in. The staff, though few, are wonderful and will show you great service. You cannot go wrong.
EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING. The service was amazing and the food is outstanding. They seated our little group very quickly and handed us complimentary saki and miso soup. Definitely a hole in the wall. Would definitely go back with more people and will continue giving them business in the future.

As for hibachi steak and shrimp and this is what I got the steak and shrimp tastes old and didn’t want to give me a refund just terrible and nasty
If I could put like 10 stars I would. Wow. This place is the BEST sushi restaurant we have come across throughout Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest. It is the absolute best. The sushi is so amazing. They are quick, the portions are big. We got above and beyond service. Truly an amazing place. Wow. Ugh. We couldn’t stop saying how good it was. Do NOT let the outside scare you away. The inside is nice and clean. You must go here!!!!

Even through the covid-era slowdowns, Little Tokyo is still one of our very favorite places. We get takeout a couple of times a month but stopped yesterday for in-person lunch. The sushi was absolutely outstanding, service was fast and friendly, good prices, and eating there is still casual and relaxed. Little Tokyo is great!
