The staff was extremely friendly and the food was fantastic, from the appetizers to the entree. We were never rushed like so many restaurants do you truly get to enjoy your outing.
One of the best dining experiences we had in a while.We were set in the 'private room', a nicely decorated room with fresh flowers and a wall of wine bottles. The room has bar height table and chairs.The food itself was amazing. We concentrated on appetizers and dishes with eastern European flair. Gulash was amazing and so was the stuffed cabbage, although it was somewhat dry. Extra tomato sauce resolves this minor issues.Over all - highly recommended.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is so kind and friendly. You can always tell when people are passionate about what they do. This place really puts in the extra effort in to make your experience amazing. I can’t recommend Sophie’s highly enough!

Sophie’s is hands down my favorite local restaurant in the Triangle area! You can tell that Sophie’s Greek/Armenian proprietor & chef Desi has fun in the kitchen coming up with new delicious Eastern European & Continental dishes. I’ve had the amazing vegetarian lasagna, Goulash, several salads, fish, and every time I leave wanting to come back for more. The Armenian bacon wrapped figs are my favorite!!I recently celebrated my daughters graduation at Sophie’s because I knew we would all love our meals and be treated like family! Beyond its amazing cuisine, Sophie’s staff is also 5 stars!!! Head server Simeon as well as Dali from Bulgaria make you feel like you’re on vacation from the moment they greet you! They’re attentive to every detail and strive to make your time at Sophie’s an experience. My family had so much fun with them both!! So if you want to impress your friends or a client, or if you just really want amazing food and a great time, or if you’re looking for something fun to do, you know where to go ;) Did I mention the best bar tenders and drinks, weekly bands, karaoke Latin dance nights, and wine tastings?? We arrived with our family, and we were greeted by Simeon, the manager, and Ksenia who were extremely accommodating to all of us and our children. The service was fast, and the food amazing. The place looks great and clean. We look forward to come again soon. It felt like home.
We just discovered this great, tucked away spot! It was amazing! I had the Lamb Stew and the Bacon Wrapped Figs - both were phenomenal! My fiancé had the stuffed cabbage rolls and my mom and godmother had the wings. Everything was flavorful, presented well, and so good!! We also had the Mango Margarita, the Pineapple Mojito, and the Vesper Martini (I had 2) - they were absolutely delightful. To top it off, it was karaoke night with Creative Karaoke! We found Sophie’s via Google and we had an unexpectedly great meal and a wonderful night out. Dali took great care of us and we really enjoyed his recommendations. We’ll definitely be back soon! This will definitely be one of our favorite places to visit in the future.?
Simeon was knowledgeable and helpful about the menu and wine selections. Place was clean and open. Food was amazing! Iâd definitely go back!
I have eaten there often, sung Karaoke often, and been there for bands and DJs. It is a super place, in all regards. The owner, Desy, is very friendly and loves to have special events: Elvis night, Latin night, Russian night, Bulgarian night, Brazilian night, Belly Dancing night, wine testing night, open mic night....no other place in the Triangle has so many fun things as Sophie's...have been alone and with dates.
