Saw headliner Orlando Leyba for some much needed comic relief. His act was so good, he had us in stitches!! The venue was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Food options were typical for a bar. This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back to see some local talent as well as some more better know comedians.
My friend got tickets to see Ashley Gavin. I tried to reach out to the venue prior but didn't get a response. I needed accommodations for being in a leg brace and hard of hearing. The club was amazing and extremely helpful when I showed up. The food was great, prices met the portions for what we ordered, we got a bunch of desserts(the Mason jar desserts are where it's at) and appetizers. They even had a selection of mocktails, being sober this was huge to have a place actually consider and cater to that. The cauliflower wings and sauce were very good. The server was beyond great. Just all around a great experience.
I love the way you order and pay your tab via the QR code. The staff was friendly and served you quickly. The atmosphere was great. The seating area was clean.Only grievance is with the timeliness of seating. They ask you to arrive on time but do not start seating until well after the posted start time of the show. It would be nice to be actually seated and have order before the start of the show.
What a night out!! Good food, good laughs, and great vibes. They had a two purchase minimum, but that was really easy after ordering food and drinks. Dessert was yummy too. Definitely get there early to grab the better seats!! Already purchased tickets to come back!!
Great date night idea! Awesome value at $25 to see Adele Givens (who was hilarious)! Food won’t blow you away but it was decent. Seating is first come, first served, so show up as early as possible. An overall great experience.
First time here and I had a great time. The food was good, the audience was great, it's a great place which I am going to try and make it a regular date night.First the associates were helpful in explaining about the seating area and how you can order food just by scanning the qrc code at each seat. We never even got to doing that as our waitress was on the ball and helping us and grabbing our orders.I used the facilities and found them looking great and well kept. The food was great tasting with lots of flavors. I got everything I wanted, just the way I ordered it.The comedians were very funny and helped in making this a great night to remember.
We have been to Raleigh Improv twice now (Godfrey and Tracy Morgan) and we plan to continue going. It’s a huge venue with awesome headliners. You don’t end up sitting on top of other people when you are seated which is nice, unlike many of the NYC venues. It’s in a plaza, so parking is free and easy. Things to be prepared for: 1) arrive at least 30 min early for the best seat options if you buy a GA ticket. 2) Eat before hand if you can. The food is not great, the portions are small, and with such a large venue (and possibly understaffed venue) it takes a while to come out. There are great restaurants in the plaza you can check out before the show. 3) Cocktails are good! 4) Bring your good vibes. We’ve heard time and time again that comedians are so HAPPY to be back out on the road, with REAL AUDIENCES, and this continues to hit home for us. They thrive on your energy, so come have fun!
This was a lovely venue. Loved the show. Food was very easy to order. Service was great. My first time there. Dominic was very hospitable.
I’m giving this place 3 stars because the comedians they have are pretty funny. However, most of the food is ?. They’ve got to do better with the quality & timing. Ricky Smiley was sold out & the show was a hour behind & they had no sense of urgency of getting us in…Raleigh Improv has to do better. ??♀️
Not many food items, of worth, to choose from (most things out of stock). Order was made incorrectly and had to wait to be remade. Staff was pleasant when order was taken, but not when order had to be corrected. I only tipped cause it was my birthday weekend but the tip wasn't worth the service and house close they seated everyone. Definitely not a great option if your trying to enjoy entertainment and worry about pandemic related issues too.
