Very good service! The workers we very nice and food was great

My family and I dined in at O’Charley’s on Sunday (May 1st) for my husband’s birthday. Upon arrival, the host was extremely nice and we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress did a great job! The food was pretty good. That was the good part, but here comes the bad part. After my meal, I decided to go to the ladies restroom before we left. As soon as I turned the corner, I was a little hesitant due to the odor. Well, that was only a warning. Once I entered and looked in every stall they were all horrendous!! There was feces on the toilet seat and on the sides. It was so disgusting in there!! If I would have entered that restroom prior to eating, I would have definitely left immediately!!!

Updating from 4 to 1 star as of 5.6.22. Just spent 10 minutes waiting for a hostess to seat us. Last month when we were here, seating was quick but the food took awhile. No problem with that since they're probably dealing with staffing issues like everyone else. We still tipped our server well. She was fine. The issue lies with Hailey and Danielle failing to acknowledge us as we waited. When one of the men bringing out a to go order asked how we could be helped, we were already leaving. Probably won't be returning.

Ordered dinner for mobile pickup - arrived and no one was around to help. Went inside and the hostess said that they don’t start making the food until she sees us (which to me defeats the purpose of ordering ahead) so we wait a little while and then leave with our food. We get home and realize they forgot our sauces for the chicken tenders and ribs, the gravy for the mashed potatoes, the dressing for the salads, and the rolls (that we paid extra for). The salad was incredibly warm and wilted because they placed it underneath the hot food in the bags.We then called the store and spoke to the manager, he was incredibly nice and helpful and seemed to really want to know details in order to prevent this from happening in the future. He offered a partial refund which we were fine with, since the main part of the meal was still edible. The only issue I have is that the refund amount he told us was not the amount he actually refunded - we received $25 less than he stated on the phone (we paid partially with a gift card but he said he would refund the gift card portion with the non gift card portion). All in all I do think this is a good O’Charley’s but it is clear that there is some work to be done with timing and packing mobile orders. If we go back it will likely not be for pickup, only for dine-in.

Walking in we were nervous having never been to this establishment. We were greeted by a friendly face and promptly approached by the manager. He strikes up conversation and we quickly learn our home state is a commonality. We were quickly seated and our server immediately attended to us and was engaging with the whole table. He brought warm and fresh bread and made small conversation. He quickly took our order and our drinks were never empty. The food was delicious and the overall service was excellent. Marty and Elijah definitely made our first time at O’Charley’s a great experience. We will definitely come and visit again!

The wait to get food was pretty long, but it was short-staffed. The food was pretty good. However, the table we were sat at was not very clean (some crumbs and a sticky spot remained on the table) and the menus really could have used a wipe down. The hostess was seen wrapping silverware and then wearing the same gloves to clear a tray with dirty dishes, and then sitting another customer and giving them menus.

My steak was perfect. Eli the manager did his best being short staffed. I’ll definitely be back.

Went on Wednesday and no longer had free pie. The $10.99 menu is now gone. 1 Server in only open dining room passed by us without a greeting. After 15 minutes of being ignored we left. Very disappointed. Used to be a great place. We will not return.

It must be a rough day or the staff isn't paid well enough to care. While waiting for my order I had seen another customer show up and say there were missing items from their order. I blew it off as an "eh it happens".Well they were out of ribs and they were kind enough to give me a call and ask what I would like as a substitute. Since I was driving and I don't know the menu I just asked for a "house special". Expecting that I would get some entree item and maybe a dessert as a side for the inconvenience. Though the dessert wouldnt have been necessary. Unfortunately I got no other entree, along with one side missing. My buddy that I had gone with had a similar situation as well, so multiple people I had seen got the wrong orders.I did get the sirloin steak cooked medium rare and will say that at least it was a decent peice of meat.

Great staff, good food, but wait! There’s more!I’ve been to a few O’Charley’s across a few states, so I’m familiar with the ambience and atmosphere. Let me tell you, I didn’t not expect this one in Cary to be the worst for atmosphere! And I live around Detroit!Let me preface with, the food was great. Grabbed a steak, ribs and a couple sides and the steak was cooked perfectly, med rare and the ribs were great like always. The service was great also; My bartender was at tentative, and up for conversation on a slow night as expected. No complaints! Won’t mention names for privacy. But ****, the bathroom smelled like the sewage pipe had erupted for quite some time without some attention. And trust me, I know first hand what that smells like. I wouldn’t blame the staff for not cleaning because I didn’t like to use it as a customer! For a chain, you’d think the owners would care! And oddly, for how nice the city of Cary is, I would expect these other customers to be at an Applebees in a section 8 neighborhood! Small details, but good place overall!
