I love Menchie’s so I figured I’d try this location and I was deeply disappointed. The place is not well maintained at all. Limited flavors available, toppings bar was suspect, and the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or seen a hot rag all day. Like the chain but not this location.
Not maintained well in terms of availability of flavours, i visiated three times and i half of pumps are out and half working are not good flavors so limited choice l. Its not worth making trip to store
I wish they would update there website on what flavors they had and stocked up a few few items in there store but overall very happy
I've always had a good experience with Menchies and we use to bring the kids frequently before covid-19. Today was our first visit since covid-19, a treat for the kids after getting their vaccine shot.Sadly, it was not a pleasant experience today. The employee was very busy socializing with her friends, not masked. There was flirting and chasing and inappropriate words said in front of kids, really should not be used with customers present either. I don't know if more words would follow, if I hadn't stopped her to mind her words.
Food is good but the employee on job sat talking to her friend in the corner the entire time we were there only getting up when she had to. Very unprofessional...
The store has signs all over saying that masks are required by everyone. Wake County has a mask mandate in place for anything inside regardless of vaccination status. Yet the one single employee in the store said she had no mask and had opted out of wearing one. When I pointed to the signs, she said they didn’t apply to employees. Because this is a self serve store, the idea of getting my ice cream from a spigot that had been “cleaned” by a non-mask wearing employee just creeps me out. Same for having her handle my ice cream cup. I put my already-full cup on the counter and walked out.I hate wearing a mask as much as anyone but when you’re told you have to wear one .. you wear it. Won’t be returning to the store until resolved or until e pandemic is over. So it looks like I won’t be back for a long while yet. Sad for me, but healthier.
Just was here with my family, and I am reviewing because I feel some of the earlier negative reviews were not reflective of our experience today. Employee was masked and friendly. Store was clean. Eight people were eating inside. There are no tables or chairs outside, which was a disappointment. Flavors available--chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, peanut butter, tart, swedish fish sorbet, watermelon sorbet, cake batter, and dulce de leche. Plenty of toppings available, and everything was in good order, except I felt the serving spoons and toppings containers could use a good scrubbing. We probably won't return, unfortunately, because 8 people eating maskess in that small store is too many for me to feel comfortable going inside with my kid who isn't old enough to be vaccinated. But we had fun today, and will hope to visit after my kid is vaccinated.
The ice cream tasted okay, nothing special, CRAZY overpriced. It was gross in there too. The guy working was lazy and was cleaning the machines when we came in. The cleaning buckets obstructed our way to the flavours we wanted and he told us to move the buckets ourselves and put them on the floor.
Menchies froyo is better quality than other places. Love this place.
